I have never felt so ripped off by a hotel that I paid for as a 5 star, but with hostel service and facilities.
Do not be fooled by the ad, it is a hotel with parking that has no parking space available, dwarf rooms, with lousy bathroom, smell of snuff and insufficient air conditioning, for the low price of 360 €.
Dirty pool, no access to the sea despite all the pictures suggesting otherwise.
In short, an expensive little pity, which ruined my stay in Opatija.
I would think twice before booking at this hotel.

Lovely hotel, good breakfast. Only complaint was the extra bed in our room for our son was awful. Really creaky with a wafer thin mattress. Other than that would recommend, nice area with lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Relativ kleine Zimmer, eher beengt, kaum Platz um grossen Koffer auszubreiten. Zugang zu den Liften mühsam, Koffer müssen über mehrere Treppen geschleppt werden (Senioren und Beeinträchtigte??). Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet aber wie in vielen anderen Hotels in Kroatien beschränkter Zugang an den Kaffeeautomaten (mehr als zwei Cars von Touristen wollen gleichzeitig Frühstück). Abendessen - Buffet grossartig sowohl Vorspeisen/Salate als auch warmes Buffet (z.B. Drachenkopffisch, Trüffel-Teigwaren und Tintenfischreis!). Bedienung und Service im Hotel sehr gut, freundlich, einfach super

Inzwischen deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Teil erhebliche Mängel anfesichts des Sterne-Segens und des demonstrierten Anspruchs bei Personal , Essen und Ausstattung, auch in Relation zum geforderten Preis. Das ist derzeit keine übliche 4Sterne Logis!

Such a lovely hotel - staff, facilities and location are just perfect! Both indoor and outdoor pools are saltwater and stunning. We didn’t find the wellness centre til the last day and it’s also incredible. Great area and so much to do! Range of food is superb - there really is something for everyone here.

Stayed for 4 days (5 nights). All staff have been friendly, food all good and a really lovely location. A short walk to the small town where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. The gym is pretty well equipped with hand weights and some other equipment and the outdoor pool is ideal. I didn’t try the indoor pool but it looks nice. A few gripes given it’s a 4 star hotel. Pool towels (collect from the wellness centre on the 2nd floor) are small bath towels so take two per person. Pool bar has limited stock in their fridge and ran out of basics claiming to be stocked the next day. That didn’t happen Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as there is only one option of liquid soap in the room bathroom and I wouldn’t suggest using that for your hair. Evening meals you have to pay for all drinks, even water. Tap water is drinkable and the pool bar staff were happy to fill my bottle with ice and tap water at no cost.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits à l'hôtel amiral. D'abord l'endroit est superbe et la balade de 12 km le long de la mer vaut bien le déplacement. l'hôtel est rénové pour une partie. La réception, le bar, le restaurant sont décorés avec goût. la piscine intérieure mérite un relooking et n'est pas facile d'accès. Il faut savoir que personne ne parle français à la réception. Après discussion, nous avons pu changer de chambre dès le lendemain de notre arrivée. Là nous avons été très satisfaits. Par étage, il y a une terrasse avec des chaises longues et un bain à bulles qui ne fonctionne pas très bien!!! Pour nous, cela n'avait pas d'importance. La piscine extérieure est décentrée par rapport à l'hôtel, il faut sortir de l'hôtel et remonter une volée d'escaliers pour y arriver.! Le restaurant propose un bon petit déjeuner sans jus de fruits frais et un buffet le soir très répétitif.. L'ambiance musicale proposée est très limitée!!! cet hôtel nous semble difficile d'accès pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.
