It’s the first time we (two adults, Five-year-old and two year old) have been to this resort. We have been to Stari Grad in Hvar before, and enjoyed the proximity to a town that we could go to for lunch and not be stuck on a resort. The rooms are really nice-we stayed in a villa. The beds were a bit high for our two year old so we opted to rent a cot for €5 a day. There is a turndown service every day. I really liked the small touches like having a double vanity and one of them being a lower height to accommodate the kids, a stepstool, and a potty ring. All of the staff were really lovely, from the reception who drove us around on a buggy to get our luggage from the car which was only about 100 m away, to the people cleaning, to the hosts and hostesses. Shout out to Yunanta who always had a smile for us at breakfast. Variety and quality of food was good, some local specialities as well like borek and squid and octopus. One very small gripe I had was that ice cream wasn’t included, it would’ve nice be nice to have that option for dessert! I like how the kids club was free-flowing, there were some activities but given it wasn’t the height of summer it wasn’t very crowded and the activities didn’t run bang on time. That wasn’t a problem for us. I’ve been to some places where you need to schedule in three hour blocks and this one was much more liberal and flexible which suited our schedule. The pool and slides were a major hit, Even we adults enjoyed the larger slides! I didn’t mind that the polls were shallow, I wasn’t looking to do any laps on holiday! Overall a really lovely, relaxing time and importantly the kids had fun!
