It is very convenient to go on a cruise. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport, and there is also a special bus to the pier (paid). There is a 24-hour coffee bar in the lobby. I had such terrible experience at the Cambria hotel nearby, but once I arrived at Avid, everything took a dramatic turn for the better. The gentleman who checked me in was exceptionally friendly and helpful, even allowing me to check in early. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, and the bedding was so comfortable that I didn’t even want to leave the bed all day. They provided complimentary coffee in the lobby, which tasted great and their complimentary breakfast was also quite satisfying. The large TV allowed me to easily watch Netflix and YouTube through AirPlay. I appreciated that all the bathroom amenities were Dove products. There were several restaurants within walking distance, and a Seven Eleven was just a 2-minute walk away. Upon checking out, there was no shuttle bus driver available, but they arranged a Lyft for me at no cost. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations, especially considering the affordable price of $95. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing accommodation near Orlando airport.
