The breakfast was very good, the room was very nice, but the fact that towels and slippers were not changed during cleaning caused us to deduct 1 point. Apart from that, the staff were very attentive.

Unfortunately we faced many issues with this ‘hotel’ during our stay in Cappadocia. It is a shame that the advertised pictures do not reflect the experience we had. Upon arrival at Cappadocia airport, we had booked the 15€ transfer. We were asked to get on a shared van which only had 2 seats left, we were 3 travelers. The lady was less than helpful and ushered us to climb aboard. For a 45 min journey, of course we declined and chose a taxi instead. Very disappointing as we were expecting a private transfer to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were met by a young boy working reception - maybe 18 years old? He then proceeded to demand the transfer money from us stating we were a ‘no show’…. We of course declined to pay as it was their issue. There was no manager available at this time to welcome us. The room was ok. The cave style is a great experience. However once again there was issues, only 2 towels in the room, no air conditioning and cave was extremely hot, no duvet for third bed… generally we were not happy. We then ordered from their room service option and received soup.. in a bag … Beds were uncomfortable with cheap linen and pillows, no cleaning or maid service unless you specifically ask for it. The breakfast was minimal and not hotel standard - more home stay standard. We also witnessed the breakfast lady remove leftover food off customers plates when they had finished and RETURN IT BACK TO THE BUFFET. We were shocked. Of course this is completely unacceptable - not hotel standard. We never received any kind of apology for our stay even though we expressed our disappointment. The man who worked in the day had very poor English and could not understand half of our requests. I recommend that at least one person at the hotel should have English in order to communicate with international guests. Do not recommend, I believe there are many more options that are better to stay in Cappadocia. Don’t make the same mistake we did! For reference we are three girls who travel a lot and don’t have ridiculously high standards! This was still disappointing to us.

My wife and I were specifically looking for a cave hotel for our wedding anniversary. The rooms are very large and comfortable with a jacuzzi. You can drink your tea in the courtyard in front of your room and watch the magnificent view of Ortahisar Castle. The hotel owner is a very caring gentleman. The breakfast was more than sufficient and of high quality. I definitely recommend it. The hotel owner's suggestions regarding the environment were also excellent.

Ortahisar village is a terrible place with dilapidated barns, it turns out through the door, unfortunately it is not worth the money, the smell of the barn is overwhelming. The staff is very inadequate, if you do not have a car, there are very limited vehicles to travel 8 km from Ürgüpe to the market center.

We came for a two-day honeymoon with my wife and we were incredibly pleased with all the services. We experienced both rooms with pools. Everything is great. The employees are super attentive. The pool water was cold, we called and they immediately came to the room and heated the water. Well done to Ms. Pembe for breakfast. We woke up to the delicious smell of cakes and pastries. It may be the only hotel that has mixed breakfast. The view, the comfort, the location, everything is simply perfect. It made us wish we could stay longer. You can come without hesitation.
