The hotel is great, even though the building is over a hundred years old, the experience is great. Location: Very good, in the city center, just over ten minutes walk to Oslo opera, and just over ten minutes away from the Nobel Peace awards venue Room: Not big, but having such a big room in a downtown area is pretty good Breakfast: Super great, a variety of snacks and fruits, and the waiters are also very nice Next time I go back to Oslo, Hotel Bristol will be my first choice.

Arrived in Oslo specifically to see the Sam Smith concert. Could walk to and from the venue. This hotel has one of the best concierges in the business! Andrea was amazing - she answered every question and connected me with amazing providers. The bartenders are super nice. Staff is great. Front desk staff are super patient and you cannot beat the location. The room had a very nice balcony. It was clean and comfortable - if a bit pricey but in a country with 25% VAT what do you expect? Really liked the city and hope to return again one day.

Very cool hotel in a very trendy, unique neighborhood. The staff was extremely friendly and our room was very comfortable. The hotel is easily walkable to a really cool neighborhood in Oslo but a bit aways from most of the ”attractions” if you are a tourist - fortunately Oslo is a small city. The only downside is the spa - for the price you pay for treatments/entrance, the facilities are pretty mediocre. The chairs are all plastic so it's really not a comfortable place to relax and there's no hot tub, aromatherapy, etc which I would expect from a property like this.

The hotel looks cool and follows the Internet celebrity route. The details are very rough. The door frame of the hotel room is made of double-sided tape that keeps falling off and hanging on the door. The design of the bathroom toilet has a flush button under the toilet lid. Every time you use the toilet, you have to close the lid manually. The flush black sanitary ware looks good but the porcelain surface is of very poor quality and is not clean. I stayed seven nights and had a boring breakfast, but it was still rich. The main feature of the hotel is the restaurant on the top floor. It is said to be the best in Oslo. You need to make a reservation for dinner and don't need a white tablecloth. The smell is also That's it, nothing amazing at all. Maybe this is the Nordic style. The only compliment is that the employees are all handsome guys and girls with blond hair and blue eyes.

From the airport, take the train to the Central Railway Station and walk for more than ten minutes. All the way to the street, the location is very good. The facilities are not bad. If you're travelling solo and want somewhere handy in the centre of Oslo and aren't too fussed about some usual hotel comforts, then this will tick the box. It's not super expensive but it could also be a bit cheaper for what it offers. The rooms feel like university student rooms, which isn't a bad thing per se. I'm unsure what larger rooms looked like but despite mine having a double bed, 2 people would feel pretty cramped in there. The bathroom/shower was good, no fault there. The bed was comfy but the matress tended to slide around. There's no room service for cleaning up or refreshing linen, they do that on rotations of their own choosing. If you really want that service (which in any other hotel is a daily one) you can request I think. This is fine for 1 night but after a while you feel a bit grimy. I found some clumps of hair on the floor and in an underbed drawer. There's no kettle in the room which is the bare basic that a room should have in terms of amenities so people can make their own tea, coffee or noodles etc. You can buy tea or coffee in reception but it's worth just heading outside to grab something. My room didn't have wardrobe storage but did have wall bracket-hangers which did the job. There were plenty of sockets for charging things. Like I said for a person solo travelling and not wanting a hostel, this place is fine for 1 night or 2. I stayed 3 and it was too long in that hotel and too long in Oslo in general.

Arrived on our ferry from Copenhagen before lunch so left luggage and wandered until checkin was possible. All so good so far. When we came to check in we asked to make sure the room didn’t have feather bedding - assured it was clear of feathers, however when went up to room this wasn’t the case. Went down, explained at which point after many discussions (explaining that I’m allergic to feather bedding over and over (as we had with the booking) I was offered another room which apparently was better (but the guy on reception didn’t seem to understand my question as to whether the new room would be free from feathers ….!) Went up to the room and of course it had feather bedding. We moved all of our luggage into the new room and my OH went down to reception this time and the same guy simply didn’t understand what we were explaining so OH requested another member of staff who did understand second time around. (Later bedding was all replaced which was then fine. ) the surprising thing was they had members of staff on reception whose English wasn’t quite up to basic requests (unusual for anywhere in Scandinavia) (while admitting my Norwegian is non-existent!) The bathroom was possibly the smallest I have ever witnessed, albeit it did have a bath with shower over. All v clean and fully functional. The pool and sauna were ok but a little small, but if you timed it you could use them. Generally the staff were a little slow (perhaps the hotel doesn’t have enough staff currently to service guests?) and service alone would put me off coming to stay here again unfortunately.

The hotel is beautiful. Simple. But has plenty of upgrades available. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Heated bathroom floors. Big tub. Walking distance to everything! That’s a big plus when you a tugging two young ones on foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to families and couples or anyone that needs a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay. And free breakfast 😊

I stayed in this hotel over a weekend in Oslo and it was just perfect for an active traveler. It is literary on the main street of the City, has all the amenities. The staff was super nice and helpful and even tried to help me check in for my flight when my phone was not working. It's clean and the shower works well. The room is small but who cares if you are out all day.

On the plus side, location is excellent and staff is welcoming and service-minded. Breakfast is nice, and has everything you need. The hotel bar had unfortunately closed early due to unknown reasons according to hotel staff, which was kind of a let-down as it would have been nice to be able to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine in the nice patio outside the bar. The lighting in the room was either extremely bright or pitch dark as lights couldn't be dimmed or separately turned on/off. Maybe I was just unlucky with my room, but it was really hard to find (the hotel is a maze!) and there was a horrible noise every 10 minutes from pipes/the ventilation system or some such, which sounded like someone banging loudly on metal pipes with a wrench. Use earplugs to sleep!

It was a really excellent hostel. Clean. Has all facilities and in the perfect location. The only thing I can suggest hostel improvement is to ask guests what they plan on doing at the hostel as, I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm and only met 2 people my age who wanted to meet and become friends and hang out etc. The rest were boring 50+ and even one 72 year old who was living there and was a let down as they kept complaining that we were talking after 11pm. If the young ones and old ones, or the quiet ones and the meet friends and go out ones are seperated, this hostel could be 5**

We where positively surprised by this fantastic and beautiful hotel in the hart of Oslo, recommended by friends. Just in the middle of everything and close to anything. Beautiful, stylish and modern room, and I even have highlight the quality of soap and shampoo in the bathroom from Rituals!😅 Great breakfast and breakfast facilities, could even make your own waffles🤗 Top score and I recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo, business or pleasure. 10 out of 10👍🏻 (only missed water or soft drinks in the minibar and an ironing kit in the room 😉)

We stayed 3 nights at the Scandic Karl Johan and I would totally stay again. The location can't be better, very centric, near the Karl Johan Gate and walking distance from the museums, the opera house, etc. The rooms are small but still feel very comfortable and the bathroom was pretty big considered the size of the room. The staff was always super nice and the breakfast was one of the best I've had during my trip to the nordic countries. You have everything you need to start your day, different breads, pancakes, charcuterie, smoked salmon, pickles, herring, cheeses, they even have vegan cheese, cereals, milk, yogurt, eggs, bacon, etc. For every taste and for every dietary restrictions also. Great hotel for a stay in Oslo.

Hotel location is good. Went at Christmas, next to the Christmas market and the city's commercial streets. Most of the popular attractions are within walking distance. Five minutes walk to the pier to take a cruise, the pier view is also very good. In other aspects of the hotel, the service is very good, the rooms are relatively large, the bathroom floor has underfloor heating, and the breakfast is plentiful.

I was at P Hotels Oslo in July 2022. I liked the experience. The hotel is centrally located. It’s very near to the Royal Palace, museums, the street food market, the piers ans a 10 minute walk from the Central Station. If you like to walk, you can walk for 40 minutes to Frogner Park. You may never have to use the transit system. My room was comfortable with its own bathroom (it’s not a given in Scandinavia). It had a window on the street. So it was noisy during the day but quiet late night. When I checked in, they couldn’t find my name. But this happens to me often when I don’t book directly with the hotel. The reception staff was very friendly, especially the morning (blond) lady and the afternoon summer intern. I did not like the breakfast they served. Might think of having it elsewhere. All in all, it’s a good place. If I go back to Oslo, this will definitely be my pick.

Great location, less than ten minutes walk from the city centre. Breakfast is a perfect score 💯 sashimi and freshly baked waffles are eaten. It is highly recommended to live in this home. The younger brothers and sisters at the front desk are also very good at serving and super warm. We checked out early in the morning, and the little brother at the front desk gave us a sandwich for breakfast. It was too warm.
