It is a traditional hot spring hotel. It is worth mentioning that there are several kinds of bath salts in their public bathroom, suitable for different skin types. My skin is very smooth after using it. The dog that saw the guests off was very cute. When the car drove away, I looked back and saw the dog following the waiter and watching at the door of the store.

This time, due to circumstances... I was looking for an indoor bath, a place to bring a pet (dog), in-room dining, and a nearby hot spring inn or hotel that was a short drive away... and that's when I found "Kikunoya". All the staff (including the mascot dog, Mametaro) love dogs and pets! I felt their warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I was very satisfied with the attentive service, delicious food, hot springs, and room. I stayed in the "Konon" room, which was barrier-free with no steps, very clean, spacious, and the sofa and bed were at a low, appropriate height so that it was safe even if my dog jumped off, so it was very comfortable. Of course, cages and other pet facilities are also fully equipped. I'm really glad I chose "Kikunoya". I hope to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was the best part of our trip. We stayed in a room with a private tub and it was the best. We also did the Kobe beef dinner and it was the best food we had our entire trip. It was not to far from Kyoto. The staff was AMAZING!!! My wife is allergic to shellfish and they made us a custom breakfast to accommodate her allergy with out us even asking. My wife literally cried when we left from how much we appreciated their hospitality. Cannot recommend this place enough.
