Literally in front of Otsu Station. I could hear the trains passing by faintly from inside the room, but other than that (both outside and in the surrounding hallways) it was very quiet. The unit bathroom hadn't been renovated in years, so it wasn't shiny. Also, the light switch was a bit tricky.

I stayed here while sightseeing in Kyoto. The room with the tatami floor and bed was surprisingly comfortable and relaxing. The microwave and coffee service are convenient.
