We never got to stay as the hotel had no record of our booking even though I had paid through ********** and had confirmation. I cannot therefore review the stay but I can say it looked very nice!

Wonderful stay. Lovely pool and the rooms were spacious and cool in the December heat. Only downside was the one set menu for dinner and no options for snacks or general food which would be helpful being 10 minutes out of town.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mooiplaas. Spacious and practical accommodation. Tasty home cooked food and a beautiful pool / bar area. The service was exceptional and we felt at home. Our favorite, however, was the tour of the working ostrich farm. We will definitely stay here again when we are next in Oudtshoorn.

My wife and 3 children spent three nights at Mooiplaas and had a wonderful time. The accommodation is spacious, modern and very comfortable. The grounds are lovely, with ostriches on the farm along with a few other animals, the pool is great and offers breathtaking views across Oudtshoorn. The town is lively and there is plenty to do, with beautiful wine winestates and restaurants nearby. We actually ate dinner at Mooiplaas every night as it was easier witb the kids and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was really very good and highlighted the local produce perfectly. Our only issue witb the breakfast room is that it was a bit of a hotbox so some fans or air-conditioning maybe something to consider. Overall a perfect place for individuals, couples, friends and family

Everything about our stay at Mooiplass was perfect. Especially te tour of te ostrich farm, but also the pool, the ultra-friendly staff and the gourmet dinner.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit angeschlossener Straußenfarm. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen, das Guesthouse bietet alle Möglichkeiten dazu. Das liegt nicht nur am Haus selbst, sondern auch am Guestmanager John (Superman)!!! Er gibt dem Hotel ein Gesicht. Gibt’s nicht, kommt bei ihm nicht vor. Deutsch hat John nur von seinen deutschen Gästen gelernt. Chapeau! Dass das Haus sauber und komfortabel ist, ist selbstredend. Abends zum Dinner wird ein Menü angeboten, eingedeckt wird auf der wunderschönen Terrasse. Vor dem Dinner bietet das Hotel eine Führung über die angeschlossene Straußenfarm an. Sehr informativ! Sollte man mitmachen.

Die Zimmer sind gross aber recht einfach gehalten. Schönes Bad. Unbedingt die Farmtour buchen: frisch geschlüpfte Straussen inklusive. Abendessen auf der Terrasse ausgezeichnet und sehr stimmungsvoll.
