We stayed here 5 nights in early October. The room decor is extremely minimalist, which may not be to everyone’s taste, but it is a very well-kept modern hotel where everything works. We stayed in the room on the top floor which has a bit of a view and a balcony (there’s a window that will either open as a window or a door depending on which way you turn the handle). The hotel is on the southern side of the old city, reasonable walking distance to most attractions and also near the tram. There are number of good restaurants on and off Via del Santo, Via Umberto I, and Via Roma. You will do better there than in the obviously touristy places like Piazza del Santo.
