The front desk service is warm and humorous. The breakfast is good. Although there are not many varieties, it is more exquisite. The location of the hotel is relatively good, close to the railway station, it is convenient to go anywhere, generally within walking distance.

Like many locations there is good and bad. First the good. The hotel is in a nice location by the marina. Food at the restaurant overall was above average but the staff work tirelessly. We had two rooms. One smelled of smoke and the other of mildew. The AC rarely made it cold in the room. The hotel seems to have been updated recently but the rooms were dirty/dusty and run down in many areas. If you pay for the water view then be prepared for it to be very loud-especially on weekends. There is a busy street and many parties right outside your window. If you are from the US, expect there to not be wash cloths. That is not uncommon in Europe and this hotel was no different. Lastly, we purchased a third room for a friend who's flight got canceled. This hotel would not refund us and walked away from us when we tried to get an explanation other than ”it is our policy”.

Stayed here for 7-nights with my mum. The hotel is centrally based with easy access to everything. Walking distance to the cathedral and to the harbour where we found a lovely beach bar. So many restaurants within east walking distance serving Sicilian delights. All of the staff are amazing - very helpful, courteous and lovely. Giuseppe was particularly wonderful and extremely helpful. The rooms are basic, but you aren’t paying the price of a 5-star hotel - the beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned and replenished everyday. Everything you need for a base and a good nights sleep. The continental breakfast has a great choice and is very filling. The young waitress is attentive and polite. Perfect base for exploring the wonderful city of Palermo.
