Hotels near Comedie-Francaise (Theatre Francais) in Paris

The room size isnt as generous as you would expect for a 1 bedroom suite but it did fit family of 4. The AC wasn't really working and the washing machine was faulty. Reported it to the concierge but still not fixed the next day. Luckily there is a self-help laundramat about 300 meters from the hotel. The location is great and central and with easy access to scooters and bikes which I reckon is the best way to get around Paris.

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

This hotel is in the middle of everything!!! Has a great bar and restaurant. The staff is very nice and friendly!! We stayed for 6 days, and our room was kept clean every day. We had the opposite experience of some of these reviews, as we had fresh towels, a clean room and bathroom and refilled tea and coffee. So thanks for housekeeping. (Also MAKE SURE you put a sign on the door saying you want your room cleaned.) We also got a Taxi within 5 minutes of asking for one to take us to the airport. We have decided on our next trip to Paris, that it will be our go to Hotel. Thank you for our perfect stay!!!!

Perfect location being in the centre of Paris and is a couple stops away from the Louvre museum on the metro. It is also allows quick and convinient travel to other main central tourist spots. The hotel is situated on a key road where many embassies closely reside (British, Japanese, American, Canadian etc.), hence there is heavy government security staff and is a very safe location to stay in, in addition to the mainy designer retail stores and boutiques also situated on the same road and surrounding areas. The hotel itself looks modern, chique and promising upon entering into the reception, however the front desk staff were two men who did not seem entirely friendly and welcoming and failed to greet us properly upon arrival. There should have been better hotel staff etiquette. The room was ckean, basic and minimal in decor but unfortunately quite small, particularly the bathroom. For a 4* hotel, I would've expected a better modern decor, toiletries and complimentary items, for example handwash liquid bottles, cotton buds and shower caps as well as more bottles of water (there was only 1 provided upon arrival when there were 2 of us). There was no wow factor and seemed pretty basic.. there have been 3* hotel rooms I have stayed in which have been more impressive in size, decor and supplementaries. The TV channels are all in French which doesn't consider other main languages of international tourists so we had little indoor entertainment. There were also initial issues with the shower head in the bathroom too which was thankfully fixed by a staff member quickly after we brought it to their staff's attention. Street views of boutiques and official government buildings were quite nice. The worst part was that there was no sound proofing in the room. First night was the worst sleep I've had in a hotel and I could literally hear everything from the surrounding rooms (creeking, flushing, piping etc) as well as outdoor drunken shouting, even with the windows closed. The hotel appears to have selectively refurbished rooms, which I also read from other reviews seem to have better sound proofing anf modern decor. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there is any intention to update all the rooms to match the same 4* quality standard, which how management appear to be controlling the room prices. Hence, my best recommendation is to pay more for a refurbished room/prestige room to get a better stay experience (not the superior rooms because there is nothing superior about them).

Quiet location and close to places to visit in Paris such as the Louvre, Châtelet or the Opéra Garnier Galeries Lafayette. Lots of restaurants nearby and shops, and we are also in the second Asian district of Paris after the 13th. Decent space for one person per room, it's small. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, flow and hot water very well. But the room has no kettle, coffee, fridge, except a small TV whose remote control did not work. Soap in the bathroom only. In the closet you can use 2 more pillows. My room had an inner courtyard, which was a bit dirty because of the pigeons, which nest there. I didn't have breakfast, but they don't have a dining room, it's just a small area attached to the reception. Pleasant and young hotel staff, with night reception. The room key is not electronic, you have to leave your key when you leave.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. An excellent stay! This hotel was wonderful for a long weekend away. The staff could not have been more helpful - directions, recommendations and general attentiveness. Very polite and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious - lots of choice of cereals, dried fruits, fresh breads and pastries, yoghurts as well a chef making fresh omelettes or scrambled egg. All very relaxed in a great setting looking on to the street - watching early morning Paris go past. Family bedroom was perfect. Everything was immaculately clean and fresh and the beds so comfortable and the main bed was huge. The room was big, lots of space for two adults and two children (one teen). The bathroom was fresh and nice products. There was a double shower (with two entrances) and a separate toilet. Location was brilliant as it was possible to walk everywhere from here and felt v safe at night.

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

Hotel service is very good is the price 8k+ also told me to upgrade the room The triple room turned out to be an extra bed, I thought I entered the wrong room. . . This price is really. . . . However, the surroundings are very close, and the decoration is still good.

The room and hotel was very nice, friendly, and clean. As with any room with a great location overlooking an extremely active, fun area in Paris, the noise from delivery trucks etc. throughout the night is loud. I would accept the noise because I like being in that type of area. However, the soundproofing of the room from noise coming from other rooms and floors is pretty bad. We could hear other people talking, opening and closing doors, and listening to their TV throughout the night. Again, the room itself was great, and we loved the wrap-around balcony on the Privilege with Balcony room on the fifth floor. The view was over the street below and classic Paris rooftops. The bathroom does not have a stand up shower curtain, only a wand type shower head, but that worked quite well for us and was common throughout France. We would definitely stay there again. We did not have breakfast there since there are numerous breakfast cafes nearby. Also, we were there 3 nights and two full days. Our room was not made up on the second day while we were gone all day. They offered to make it up while we were out for the evening, but we declined the offer. The hotel is in a very nice, fun location. Each of the desk attendants spoke excellent English and were very helpful.
