Very disappointing experience. We specifically booked a balcony room expecting to enjoy the view, but when we arrived the entire balcony was completely blocked by construction scaffolding. There was absolutely no view at all, which made the balcony completely pointless. What is most unacceptable is that the hotel never informed us about the construction in advance, and there was no mention of it during check-in either. This feels very misleading, especially when guests are paying a higher price for a balcony room. Transparency is very important in hospitality. If the hotel had clearly informed guests about the construction beforehand, we could have made a different choice. I booked two rooms, and the location, room layout, and everything else were excellent. The only issue we encountered was that the air conditioning in one of the rooms broke on the first night. The hotel provided two fans and arranged for us to move to a new room the next day. The room wasn't clean. We stayed for two nights, and the bathroom trash bin wasn't emptied at all during our stay. Despite our reminders, no one came to clean it. We were assigned a twin room instead of the double/king bed we booked. Furthermore, upon entering, I noticed the duvet for the bed lying on the floor. The air conditioning was showing an error code and, despite running, provided no cooling whatsoever! We reported it to the hotel staff, but they just told us it was 'normal' and offered to give us a fan if we were too hot 🙈. Spending summer in Paris with no AC and a really thick duvet made it impossible to sleep; we didn't get a wink of sleep for two nights. The location is great and convenient for getting around, but if a good night's rest is important to you, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Absolutely, unequivocally terrible. Run! This place has zero security. It feels incredibly unsafe. There isn't even a single staff member on duty at night. You can walk straight from the hotel entrance to the elevators without needing to swipe a key card anywhere. You can even get directly to the rooms without any security checks. The connecting door in our room wasn't even locked; I thought it was a closet, opened it, and found a man sleeping inside! The hygiene is also disgusting. The toilet trash can was full when we checked in. Absolutely repulsive.

Despite photos showing spacious balconies, these are only found in a very limited number of rooms (perhaps just one or two). Most rooms advertised with a balcony actually have tiny ones, not wide enough for even a small round table. Therefore, exercise caution when booking. This is a charming little hotel. They offer a welcome drink, the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is absolutely superb. My only complaint is that the beds were extremely narrow, but otherwise, everything else was quite good.
