Things to like: pleasant modern boutique vibe in the small lobby area, offering complimentary flavoured water (and croissants later in day). Excellent level of cleanliness. Most staff obliging and friendly especially the male receptionist in the evening. Organic breakfast. Good sized room with comfortable bed and pillows, plus functional bedside tables with adjustable reading lights, usb charge points etc. Air con. Middling: room felt soulless with no cheerful pictures, hard (vinyl?) floor, table too small for keys, phones, brochures, and usual travel paraphernalia. Same with the otherwise well equipped bathroom, but instead of drawers under sink it would be better to have some shelving where his/her toiletries could all sit out. Poor: getting hold of some fresh milk for UK tea drinkers depended on who was at reception. On day of arrival before I could buy any it was reluctantly supplied in a miniature jug! View was of big factory belching out steam from tall steel chimneys, and a delivery yard for lorries. So not scenic. Awful: attitude from “M”. On last day, I had just taken my leave when I remembered something and returned to check in desk. Sorted, I went to leave again but was then asked how many breakfasts I had had. Two, times two, I replied thinking it was just conversational but then: Had I paid? Why, yes, of course. (Breakfasts were paid for as and when booked the day/evening before.) Could I prove it? Did I have the receipts? I was confused. What were they saying and, if I hadn’t intended to pay for the breakfasts, would I have “admitted” having any in first place. Didn’t they have a copy of the receipts? They should have but apparently, not mine. So, in this heat you want me to start unpacking my luggage to see if I still have them buried away. Yes. I take my luggage to an area where I can start to dismantle my cases (it’s very hot by the way) and start sifting through when I’m told that one receipt has been found. But is the only one, there are no others. I keep looking and am actually tearful. I feel like a criminal, certainly treated that way. I finally find a small bag with the majority of my receipts and start going through them when I’m told from the other side of the lobby, I’ve found it. I look up. Pardon? I’ve found it. Sorry. Not really what I would call a heartfelt apology for what I’ve just been put through. I repack my cases and leave. Just to add. The only food my companion and I ate that same day was breakfast from the hotel. I’m a pensioner and she a fit healthy teenager who ate some cold buffet meat and croissant which I did not. A few hours later she was feeling nauseous and by the time we caught our train she was sick twice and not well for a couple of days. I cannot say for sure it was the breakfast which appeared to be fresh and kept well but on the other hand it was the only food she had eaten. To conclude, we had encountered so many very lovely, kind French people on our journey that this was a very sad

The rooms were small but clean. There were small cubes where to save your stuff but not even a carry on would fit there. The private bathrooms were ok but there were no towels to even dry my hands on or to step out the shower afterwards, so everything was a bit wet. Sometimes I could not get it into the common bathrooms for some reason and I know I was not the only one (problems with hostel card) We asked whether they could add us all to the same 4-bed room since we were 3. They said they could and afterwards they did not 'by mistake' so this was a bit disappointing. The place in general was awesome, it was very nice, clean, friendly staff. They also have lockers where to store your luggage if needed. Breakfast was a bit expensive but totally worth it. Location was convenient since there is a metro station just around the corner, so it was pretty easy to move around such a big city. I would probably go again.

Le séjour de notre groupe scolaire dans cet hostel fut un désastre ! Nous avons rencontré de nombreux problèmes dès le début de notre séjour, notamment le service de réservation toujours en ”congés” qui répondait avec des délais jamais vu pour un service groupe, et de plus désagréable et non professionnel au possible. Dans l'ensemble, le niveau de service offert par le personnel était très bas, ce qui a rendu le séjour très désagréable. Le pire a été le service après-vente, où nous avons soumis une demande de geste commercial pour compenser les problèmes que nous avons rencontrés : - Douche qui fuyait dans une des chambres : l'auberge a répondu que les élèves l'avait ”cassée” ; c'était la CPE qui logeait dans cette chambre... aucun élève n'y était jamais entré... et on lui a donné une serviette pour éponger au lieu de la changer de chambre ! - Une autre chambre qui ne fermait pas : ils nous ont dit que c'était les élèves qui l'avaient cassés (encore c'est pratique!) alors qu'au check in, ils nous avaient prévenu ne fermait pas. - Il a fallu insister pendant 24h pour qu'il y ait quelque chose de fait, entre temps les occupantes, des filles mineures, ont dormi sans aucune sécurité au sein de l'établissement et le lendemain ont du laissé leurs affaires dans une chambre qui ne fermaient pas. - le petit déjeuner : un croissant réchauffé + une boisson chaude au choix entre du café, du chocolat et... de l'eau chaude, pas un sachet de thé ou autre ! C'est connu, les gens raffolent d'eau chaude le matin. Demande de remboursement d'un enfant malade qui n'avait pas pu venir, on nous a dit que le stock (d'eau chaude et de croissants congelés??) avait été prévu en avance et ne pouvait pas être remboursé. Malheureusement, après avoir essayé par tout les moyens d'avoir un retour qui ne soient pas des allégations mensongères pour justifier leur service médiocre, ce fût peine perdue nous n'avons plus jamais eu de retour du responsable de cet établissement ce qui n'est absolument pas professionnel au delà d'être juste correct. Nous avons même dû redemander plusieurs fois pour avoir la facture finale (et correcte !). Nous avons même essayé de contacter le service après vente du groupe LOUVRE HOTELS mais nous n'avons jamais eu de retour a nos nombreuses demandes : Nous avons bien reçu votre demande, d'ailleurs voici sa référence : **********7. I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the Gardette Park hotel. While the room was on the smaller side, which is to be expected in Central Paris, it provided ample space for me. It would also be suitable for a couple, as long as they don't have too much luggage. The bed was comfortable and impeccably clean. One of the highlights of the room was the balcony, which overlooked the beautiful trees of Gardette Park. There was a coffee maker in the room, along with a sufficient supply of capsules, tea, and a kettle. Additionally, the reception area offered a tea, coffee, and chocolate machine, which guests could use at any time. Although I didn't choose the breakfast option, there were plenty of nearby alternatives available. The quiet atmosphere at night ensured a restful sleep. The lady at the reception (she speaks English, French, and Italian very well) was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful, making my interactions with the staff a pleasant experience. The hotel's location was fantastic, with a close proximity to excellent restaurants, supermarkets, and a vibrant city (including night) life. While I didn't prioritize visiting major Paris attractions during this particular trip, they were only 30 minutes away. For those arriving from the airport (I personally used Orly and departed from CDG), the nearest metro station, Richard Lenoir, was a convenient 10-minute walk. However, if you have a substantial amount of luggage to transport, there are bus or Uber options to minimize the walking distance. Overall, my stay at the Gardette Park hotel was delightful, and I highly recommend it.

My flight got delayed, so I arrived late to the hostel around 2 AM on the night of March the 10th ”My reservation was from the 9th, so no problem” I seemed to wake up the receptionist who suddenly got busy on phone but had done the check in procedures, I reconfirmed it's a bottom bunk bed ”due to a medical condition, I can't climb” he said Yes Yes.. My room is on the 5th floor, I was fine and asked if there's a lift, he said Yes Yes ”basically was busy on phone and didn't even listen to what I was saying” I went up ”no lift btw but it was okay” to find the bed assigned is on top, and there was only one person in the room! I went down again asking if I can take the vacant bottom bed, then he got mad!! No you can't, wait for my colleague in the morning to see if he can move you. I asked if I can stay at the reception till then, but no it's closed... So I will just stay here in front of the Reception desk I replied. I affirmed I had my request delivered for a bottom bed, there was only one person in the room, so why can't I just get any?! He got very mad; started to call me crazy, and then shifted to the ”I don't speak English” and saying Me NO ME NO ME NO... He then approached very very close waiving threatening with his finger ”saying we are not discriminating you”!!! What? Who said discrimination?!! Then, I started to film his attitude with my cell phone right away as it was that close it gets physical.. He panicked when I started to film and called the police on me and asked me to go spend the night in the kitchen!!! Unluckily for him, I can understand French pretty well but I only speak English... He asked the police to come because I was making a fuss and a scandal. The police arrived like 30 mins later, while me shaking and waiting in front of the desk as he vanished when I started to film. Very Unluckily for him, the police was very supportive to me and they spoke English... When I told them the whole story; they asked him to return my money as long as they didn't adhere to my request for bottom bed, it's a medical condition but he was so rude to them as well saying, It's not his problem! He refused to refund saying tomorrow in the afternoon I come back to his colleagues be refunded. The police stayed with me till I booked another hotel for the night and THEY SAID IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY RECEIVE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PERSON but they can't file a case against him since it didn't get physical. While booking an alternative accommodation at 3 AM outside in the street, he called me in to give my money back!! This is a story I wanted to share, a story of lying, aggressive, and rude receptionist. Ah, and to the police; he stated that there's someone taking the bottom bed... While the key of the bottom bed was actually left on the check out tray!!! If you want ur days ruined and both yours physical and psychological health abused and tortured go to this place and deal with this man in particular. I dare their management

The hotel’s location is so good. Metro station 3 minutes walk and only 20 minute walk to the nearest hop on hop off bus stop. Staff friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was small though. Would have been fine for two people but it was myself and my 2 adult children - wish we had booked a four person room and paid a little extra as with the extra bed in the double room there was zero floor space left for our belongings/suitcases. All in all a good stay. Le Camelia across the road had a lovely breakfast and we had a fab dinner and we’ll-priced cocktails at ZigZag Cafe 100m down the road.

The front desk staffs were helpful but the manager didn’t fulfil our request. I spent high amount money for just one night with Eiffel Tower view and come earlier than other customers, when we go to the room we found a mosquito on the bed, so we asked for changing room in higher floor but be rejected. And people who came later were arranged to higher floor. I just felt being discriminated! However, the view and location is good but service and attitude needed to be improved!!

The hotel is located in an area that from what I could tell was undergoing transformation from what was probably a light commercial and office area being replaced by new apartment buildings which the hotel was part of and while the area was nice it wasn’t really convenient to anything. On the morning I needed a taxi the hotel tried booking me one but none were available in the area and I walked about two kilometres before I was able to hail one down. This is an apartment hotel and doesn’t provide all the traditional services you would get at a hotel but this one comes pretty close. A small lobby with some seating and vending machines and another area with some lounges and a game table. My room 311 had a handy entry area with a small shelf ideal for your keys and other small items and some coat hooks. The bathroom is off to one side and had a large open shower with just a shower curtain in my room which I think was because it was a disabled room. The shower was a good size but the floor of the shower which was a prefabricated tray didn’t feel as it was properly attached to the floor and had a fair bit of movement. The main room was a good size for Paris and had everything I needed for my short three night stay including a comfortable bed, desk with convenient power outlets and a kitchen which was well stocked with the items you would need on a daily basis for a short stay but more specialized appliances were available to borrow at the front desk like food processor, croc pot and crepe maker I think it was which was a good idea. Overall the room had a nice modern contemporary feeling and more than enough space. Being an apartment hotel concept the rooms are only serviced every seven days which is something to be aware of. I chose this hotel as it was closer to the place I needed to collect my leased car from and given that the French Open was on at the time my options were limited and the hotel had parking but as it turned out I didn’t need it as there was plenty of free street parking right outside the hotel on the two nights I needed it. I really like the Adagio chain of apartments in Europe and this was another great one.

We are very unhappy with this place which claims to be worthy of a 4 Star. Not very warm welcome, deposit of €250 to be paid upon arrival (unheard of!!!). We were given the keys to our room, upon opening the door, we noticed that the room was not made: sheets..bathroom bathroom.... As a result we were given another ”suite” room, but what a disappointment, already taking the elevator: the floor covered with a stained carpet, the corridors leading to the rooms the carpets also stained; in our ”suite” there are frays on the carpet, stains on the toilet tiles, the floor is also not nickel...it needs to be scrubbed!!!!!!!, unacceptable for a 4 star.

Stayed here to be close to Disneyland, only 12 minute walk to the park!!! It’s the closest non-Disney hotel to the park, and very glad we chose it. The room itself was good, a little apartment with all the amenities you would need, nothing fancy but good! Bed was comfy, shower was nice. Staff friendly, easy to check in. (first time using trip.com for anything and was worried our booking was going to be non-existent as the price was so cheap compared to other websites, but it was all fine!) It’s also close to the main shopping centre in val d’europe (about a 14 minute walk). the train station in val d’europe is a little further walk, we found that walking to Marne la ville chessy train station at Disneyland was actually closer and faster to get too! All in all, would highly recommend here if you want to be very close to Disneyland, dont bother using shuttles and things, just walk!
