Had a good enough stay for about a week. A bit far from the train stations but also relatively quiet area. I do think accessing the gym and swimming pool here was a bit inconvenient with where you have to go to but the room we stayed in was the defining feature overall so the hotel did its service.

Excellent service large rooms clean bedsheets. Breakfast was ok. Convenient location to SGT. Overall excellent stay

I’d rate this as one of the best bang for your bucks in terms of location and accessibility, services and comfort.

Totally worth the price! The location is the main highlight! 2 blocks away from shopping area, many options for food nearby. Room is well maintained and clean. Never had any cleanliness issue. The elevator only work 1 unit, during peak hour maight be traffic but i only experienced once during my 7days stay. Staff during check in/out really nice and helpful. No toothbrush available (may be should ask?), they just forget to refill the soap and shampoo. But everything else was perfect.

Whilst the room is clean and functional, the hotel was a nightmare for connectivity which is non-existent. Additionally of the two lifts that lead up, only one is functional which means significant delays if you run into a massive crowd of guests checking in like I did.

It’s a simple hotel but just all you need for a short one night trip

Hotel room was big and clean. Breakfast buffet was great but was the same everyday.

Overall a normal hotel. Location is great. Walls are not soundproof, the sound of the lift and the noise from occupants could be heard clearly and loudly. Also it would be great if they were to provide toothbrush and toothpaste, and toilet with bidets. Housekeeping department did a great job in ensuring the cleanliness of the room.

Good central location. Building is a bit run down with multiple maintenance issues during our visit.

My family and I are staying in BnB, but my 10 A years old boy requested to stay in the hotel. It was not easy to find a decent hotel in a reasonable price in a short period of time. However, Mercure Hotel answered all the doubts so we stayed two nights. Great location, and service and is excellent for family holidays. The staff are friendly, the room is spacious and perfect for a family. My two kids love the hotel. The location is very accessible and within walking distance. My son enjoyed the pool and walking at nearby shops. Recommended for families, couples or single. We will definitely come back on the next term break. My son loves it.

Very old hotel and room, totally huge difference compared to photos online, please reconsider if you want to spend your night here (even one night experience would be bad enough)!! Checked in to a room at the other side of the building, corridors are mouldy, someone’s room service plates glasses and champagne bottles were left right in front of our room (manager said they have not cleared yet when we went and complained, which they seem totally unaware of it😃). Room was dark and bulb was broken, requested for a room change but was declined by the manager with the reason that they were full house the night. Then when we checked on hotel booking websites, rooms are still AVAILABLE. After we showed the website, the manager RELUCTANTLY acknowledged and finally allowed us to change room (with a black face of course). The manager was pretty unfriendly (but other staff are ok). This should not be a 4-star hotel, it deserves only 1 star for its location. Definitely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life.

We got the corner room which is bigger unit with washer, cloth dryer, microwave & etc. The dryer was on when we got in and there were clothes inside. The clothes were gone the next day. The microwave isn’t working and we informed the receptionist but his response was unfriendly, saying that they can’t do anything as our unit is special. I guess it has been down for some time. There is induction cooker in the unit but it can’t been turn off even after you switch it off. The only way to turn it off is to switch off from the DB. This is absolutely dangerous. They have to do something with all the kitchen appliances provided to ensure it is well maintained and safe to be used. Else just remove it or put a note there to warn the guest.

Hotel is conveniently located close to airport and within CBD hence there is free shuttle bus within the area. Breakfast was simple with standard variety.
