Premetto che siamo arrivati in hotel al buio e con una pioggia scrosciante e quindi la prima impressione è stata decisamente drammatica: l'hotel è fatto di tanti bungalow sparsi in una zona verde in una collina piuttosto ripida con la reception in alto e la zona ristorante in basso vicino al fiume. Il bungalow tutto in legno ci ha fatto subito una brutta impressione ma il peggio è stato il bagno che visto che aveva il muro fino ad altezza vita e sopra canne tutti gli animali esterni avevano libero ingresso, quindi, lumache , lumaconi, gechi più o meno grossi e rospi entravano e uscivano dal bagno a piacere. Niente phon, niente tv, niente connessione internet in camera e solo un ascigamano. Ne abbiamo richiesto altri li hanno portati ma ci è stato fatto notare che ce ne era già uno. Lenzuola gialle e macchiate, gialle forse perchè le lavano con l'acqua del fiume ( vedi foto), tende oscuranti che non oscurano niente. Cena appena sufficiente colazione negativa. La mattina successiva con il sole abbiamo apprezato la bellezza naturale della location ma restava tutto il negativo

Een basic resort, je hebt er niet veel te doen behoudens het zwembad, kamers (huisjes) zijn basic niet heel schoon en af en toe wat ongedierte. Ontbijt is summier maar de mensen vriendelijk en het diner was prima hoor. We waren hier 2 nachtjes en dat was prima.

Poor hygiene. Old cabins. Dirty sheets. Muscitonet with holes. Please make sure to bring enough cash. It is cash only and there is nothing else around. Even activities have to be paid in cash. No ATM for miles. Food is okay but breakfast is very poor. Big bowls with jam, uncovered on the counter. Luckily i had the best out of the 3 cabins.

It is a beautiful location. The houses are very simply furnished. Bad 'bathroom'. No storage space for toiletries and a rickety sink. A small refrigerator sat on the floor. Nice veranda but without chairs. House was clean. Very irregular paths and a bad staircase (61 steps) to get to the restaurant. Very simple breakfast. Two swimming pools with far too few beds. There were only 6 sunbeds at one of the pools. The lunch and dinner were good.

The whole hotel complex was incredibly large and beautifully kept in a natural setting. It was really fascinating. It was an experience in itself. Unfortunately, we had mice in our room and reported it. We were then given a new room, but didn't feel quite as comfortable. The experiences and the view made it better, though.

We know this hotel having passed there several times. we had 2 bungalows in the lower area near the restaurant, the bathrooms touch each other and you can hear everything, everything!! cups, but no coffee, no tea, no kettle..... not the queens of cleaning...., dust, stains... beds with still the plastics from the packaging. green swimming pool. expensive room. Correct breakfast included. evening meal good but missing ingredients on our salad, complaint..... a shame...... because the place is beautiful....

This place was fantastic and I wish I had more times there and that I can go back some day. We arrived around 10 in the morning after a back-breaking overnight train trip from Bangkok, so we were very happy that early check-in was possible. And when we go to the room things just got even better; the room was BEAUTIFUL with the bed on a dais and covered by a moscito-net. And the room also had a fantastic view over the near-by mountains. The toilet and shower was two seperate rooms which had access from the main-room, but were "ourdoor"-rooms. The toilet even had a fantastic view over trees and mountains. The staff was friendly. The massage was good. The food was simple, but delicious. If you are physically impaired this hotel may be a little challenging, as it is on a hill-side with steep steps and sloaps.

Bungalows in the heart of the jungle, with all the comfort you need, and close to the magnificent Khao Sok lake. In case of rain, there are umbrellas in each bungalow. Our group loved the calm, the noise of the jungle at night, the atmosphere in general.
