We stayed here from 2.12 to 12.12. To be honest, I spent a long time choosing the hotel, reading a lot of reviews and looking at photos, and I hope that my review will help someone. Reviews are often very contradictory, but there is a difference of taste. We were here on our honeymoon.
Location.
We SUPER liked the location. The hotel is sort of deep in a quiet courtyard, where birds sing, lizards crawl (no one was noticed in the room). Opposite the cafe where breakfast is held 7/11, a couple of meters from the hotel itself. It's a 7-10 minute walk to the beach with stops to buy fruit, if you go left, and if you go right, then a little longer, maybe 15 minutes. Kata Beach is great, 100 baht sunbed per day. To the left there are waves, to the right it is quieter. The beach is clean, shower, toilet, everything is on the beach for a fee. It's a 10-12 minute walk to the night market, where we mostly ate and bought fruit. P.s. don't buy it in a container, ask them to cut it fresh from the counter for you 10/10. We especially appreciated our perfect quiet location when we arrived from Bangla Road. Yes, we are young guys and love to party, but to return to the silence is amazing.
Room.
Initially, we wanted to take a "Bungalow or villa" it is 60 sq. m, but in the end we just took a room, which was 1 in 1, but 32 sq. m and with a smaller balcony, in general the difference was not noticeable for two people. The room has a refrigerator, a good bed with a comfortable mattress, a shower with good pressure, we did not take shampoo and shower gel with us - everything was in place. 3 towels per person. We took them to the beach with us without any problems. Important: if you want the towels changed, you have to throw them on the floor, also, if you want the room cleaned, you have to hang a sign on the door (otherwise they won't come to you). So, we didn't throw them on the floor, but asked to clean them (there's a lot of sand from the beach on the floor and trash). They just added new towels. By the end of the stay, we already had 10-12 towels. For someone, the room will be "tired" or the tiles not clean enough, but you know, everything was fine, absolutely fine. A separate feature in the room for 10 points is the beer opener in the wall (😏).
Breakfast.
I don't eat meat, my husband does, for both of us there was something to eat for breakfast. The cafe is nice, the coffee is not the best, but it's okay, they allowed me to take a mug to the room, the next day I returned it or took a glass with ice for 8 baht at 7/11 and got ice coffee. In the 7th photo, the girl is preparing fried eggs or an omelet with extras: tomatoes, peppers, ham, onions. Typical Thai dishes, such as yellow noodles, rice with vegetables, tom yum, etc. are also presented. I will say right away: there is no cheese, cereal or milk, and no buns either. But the selection of dishes changes every day, which is nice. Breakfast is good
Staff.
The guys at the reception speak English. The girl is good, the young guy is not bad, the adult man is so-so, but you can explain it with your fingers. At breakfast, the boy also speaks well, we understood each other. The girls who clean do not speak very well, but you can explain that you need to take out the trash or change the towels.
The pool, by the way, is also very nice, small, but clean and very comfortable sun loungers. There is a shower near the pool
In general, I recommend the hotel. For its price, it is very decent! We had a great time :)
