The Vijitt Resort Phuket

Rawai Beach Phuket|0.95km from Villa Salika, Phuket, Thailand
Be warned this is not a 5 star hotel, if you are used to high end 5 star hotels you will be disappointed. We stayed here for a number of weeks and we had multiple villas. We had multiple issues with all of our villas: 1. One evening I had a lot of bugs coming into my room, housekeeping sprayed Bug spray in my room, the can stated the room should be left to air for 24hrs after spraying before using the room. The spray was suffocating. It was 9pm, the hotel were unable to offer me another room to stay in. Luckily I was able to stay with my friend in another villa or I would have been in an impossible position. 2. Some of the staff were amazing and very attentive, others were unresponsive. For example, sometimes we would call reception more than 3 times asking for a buggy to pick us up before the request was acknowledged. Sometimes our rooms were cleaned without our request, other times when they weren’t cleaned and we were told we had to request for them to be cleaned. Some issues we had were remedied, others were not. 3. The food is very bad. Very few healthy options. 4. The rooms are falling apart and need renovation. My balcony was broken and dangerous. There were multiple lifting floor tiles in my room which could easily cut your feet. The bamboo around my shower was broken (the hotel did fix this). The walls and floor were stained. Worst of all, the air conditioning in one of our rooms didn’t work at all, in our other rooms it was so loud it was difficult to sleep with the noise. The shower water pressure is inconsistent (when I complained I was told this was because multiple guests were using the water, however this happened at all times of the day, and in any event should a hotel be able to handle multiple guests taking a shower? The temperature of the shower was uncontrollable, you had about 60 seconds before it was scalding hot and needed to be turned off and on again 5. There are multiple villas which are dilapidated, I could see 4 from my balcony which were in a state of total disrepair. It really ruins the surroundings. 6. Most of the sun loungers by the pool are broken. 7. The gym is outdated and the AC doesn’t work properly - it is never below 26C. 8. This is not the fault of the hotel, but be aware the sea is very dirty and nobody swims in it. If you love the beach and sea swimming you will need to drive 15 mins to the closest usable beach (Nai Harn). The hotel is very child friendly and does have good facilities for children. The staff seem very kind to kids.

The Beachfront Hotel Phuket

Rawai Beach Phuket|2km from Villa Salika, Phuket, Thailand
Prior to arriving at this hotel, we had stayed at some nice hotels in Vietnam & Cambodia, which in our view we’re getting better as our trip progressed. That wasn’t the case with the Beachfront hotel. First impressions were ok but we arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist must have been in a rush, as she rhymed off a lot of information in a matter of seconds. Our room, to be fair, wasn’t bad until we looked around. The first thing we noticed, was the toilet seat. It was a small size seat put on a large bowl!! We opted for the sea view room, but it wasn’t until the morning when we looked out the window, that we overlooked a field full of ****s and old tin buildings. Technically, we could see the sea, but really! We had to strain our neck to see it! Then came the beach! What beach? An area at the bottom of the hotel that is covered in sand and has sun beds. They have a bar there, so that saved the day, or did it? We quickly noticed that between the hours of 15:00 - 17:00 & 19:00 - 21:00 were happy hours, where they advertise 2 drinks for the price of 1. That made things better, until we noticed that all drinks on happy hour were nearly double the price. So, a bottle of Chang beer was normally 130 baht, but on happy hour, the same bottle was 250 baht!!!! Rip-off! If you happened to be one of the lucky ones to get the hotel transport to a beach area, some 15 minutes away, you’ve done well. The vehicle can only sit 8 persons, which means, most of the hotel wishing to go to the beach area, needs to order their own transport. Give credit where credits due, the breakfast and food in general is good. Staff in the restaurants are polite and helpful, but less can be said for the reception area. I found them slightly abrupt, ignorant and no patience. If you’re staying here for one or two nights, it’s ok, but anything more, I wouldn’t bother. The one thing that did come out of our trip here, was the menu. As much as the food is good, it was same old, same old, so we went out one night for something different. This lead us to a restaurant called Zen Eat, only about a 5 minute drive in a taxi, which should cost about 200 baht. A fabulous French fusion restaurant that was just amazing. You really have to try.

Rawai Beach
The location of this villa is very convenient, close to Chalong Pier, so you don't have to get up early in the morning to take a boat. The surrounding environment is very clean, and this is close to most of the famous beaches of Phuket Island, like Karon Beach, it takes less than 10 minutes to take a taxi. This villa is right by the sea and the balcony of the room can also see the sea view. You can also go to the Rawai Seafood Market to buy seafood. The price is much cheaper than domestic. The aunt of the villa has a great service and can also make a seafood meal, which is very delicious. This is a traditional Thai villa, the furniture inside is very luxurious, the sanitation is also very clean and the photos are very good. And the villa's own swimming pool and jacuzzi are too suitable for children to play, we all don't want to leave.

An oasis of peace in the middle of the outskirts of Rawai. Very nice large rooms / cottages, nice and clean with all amenities. A friendly and welcoming staff. Own transport such as a moped is recommended, there are some smaller shops within walking distance for your breakfast groceries. Price presentation ratio really great.

Come to learn boxing, bring children and old people, cheaper hotels near the boxing gym. 150 mosquito booked rooms. Nothing to say about price. But to rent a motorcycle, otherwise it would be inconvenient. There were various problems in the room. I changed the room 3 times, but I ca n’t say that the price is so cheap. . The boss is a little brother from Switzerland and can only communicate in English. He is very nice. It was the last check out in the middle of the night, I called his mobile phone without answering, and owed me a 500 Baht deposit

Great service, good Chinese. After all, it is a hotel run by Chinese people. Water is provided every day to drink as much as you like, and all requests are met. The parking lot is spacious, the villa is spacious and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Behind the hotel is Rawai Beach, and there are tools for catching the sea. Breakfast is also Chinese-style, and the more abundant it would be, the better. It is 1 km away from Rawai Seafood Market and is very convenient to walk there. The swimming pool is large and clean, and there are toys for children to play with. Booking with them during the Spring Festival holiday is very cost-effective. The key is that the villa has two rooms and can accommodate four people. Do not affect each other. The TV is also a domestic Internet TV, all in Chinese. I hope the network speed can be optimized.

The room is very clean, with 4 bedrooms, very convenient, with an en suite bathroom. The second round came and was not disappointed. Privacy is good, just like many beautiful swimming pools. There is a security guard at the entrance and the security system is very good. Of course, if you have the opportunity to go to Eid al-Fitr many times
