The hotel is located right on the beach, which is perfect for lying down and relaxing in a daze. Even in this season, it’s a bit cold to go to the sea. The swimming pool is a little small, but very clean. The front desk was a little cold-faced, but other service staff were very nice. The reservation included breakfast and dinner, but one day the hotel had a night off and we could only have lunch. We were told after check-in that we had no way to come back from the sea that day, so we had to forget it. However, Ctrip’s customer service is still very good ~

As a family of five, we have been visiting Tsilivi since 2018 and have stayed in a number of hotels. However, Iakinthos is by far the best hotel we have stayed at and hence this year we returned for a second year. It did not disappoint. The location is fantastic on the beach. Standards are high and attention to detail is everywhere with cleanliness great and food and drinks excellent quality. The staff are superb and a big shout out to Violeta, Manos, Florian, Elpida, Zeo, Emma and of course, Nazif who keeps everything running perfectly behind the scenes. Thank you from all five of us. We look forward to returning to Iakinthos next year

We recently stayed here and it was amazing. We had a deluxe sea view room with hot tub and it was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, not your usual buffet style (although there was help yourself fruit, cereals, pastries, waffles, bread, boiled eggs etc etc), but you ordered your main meal breakfast from a menu. We got through almost every option and couldn’t choose our favourite, they were all so yummy. And being sat by the sea, freshly squeezed orange juice being refilled and any type of coffee you could imagine it was perfect. We ordered lunch here twice, chicken gyros, and then a chicken burger/american burger. All delicious. And special shout out to the banana milkshake and zombie cocktail. All of the staff are so friendly. The whole place has a relaxing, luxurious feel. We booked direct so got transfers to and from the airport, where we were picked up in a lovely modern air conditioned minibus. The pool, albeit quite small, was actually perfect. As the hotel isn’t overly busy (although fully booked) people are off out and by the beach etc so it’s never too busy, no reserving beds with towels or cramped sunbeds or pool. The pool has some quite powerful jets down one end too which were nice. The beach is so nice. Quite pebbly as you first walk in but then pure sand and so clear. Our room was amazing. Comfy large bed, freezing air con (which was needed after a day in the sun). And the sunbeds on the balcony plus hot tub meant we could spend time relaxing privately if we wished too. Evening hot tub when it was cooler was lovely, listening to the waves. We kept our bedroom patio door open slightly every night so we could hear the waves. Amazing. We had THE BEST time at this hotel and in Tsilivi. And highly recommend it. We will definitely return. I wouldn’t say it’s a great hotel for children though, not that they’re not welcome, as there were some there, but it’s very chilled, relaxing and I think some children (I know ours would) may find it boring. But we were lucky to have a short break without our children so was perfect!

Response from Property: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you had an amazing anniversary break at our hotel and enjoyed the Deluxe sea view room with a hot tub. Your detailed description of your experience, from the delicious breakfasts to the relaxing evenings in the hot tub, truly warms our hearts. It's great to know that our lunch options, especially the chicken gyros and burgers, were to your liking, and we appreciate the special mention of our banana milkshake and zombie cocktail. We're also glad that our friendly staff and the overall ambiance of the hotel contributed to your enjoyable stay. Thank you very much and we look forward to welcoming you back to Tsilivi soon. Best regards, Iakinthos Team

Iakinthos is what I would call a small boutique hotel on Tsvili Beach Sept 7th - 14th 2024 6 Guests + 1 Infant ( 20 mths ) 3 rooms side sea view. We are thankful for all the hard work the hotel staff achieved on our stay, and everyone from my party was overjoyed how the staff worked well and made sure our infant was made a fuss off 🙂A cot bed and bedding were provided and also high chair for breakfast. Having stayed as a couple last year 2023, as a couple we had visited Zakynthos for last 8 years in different parts Decided to bring the family over to enjoy what we had before, the hotel is more family orientated and was more customer focused than others. The bar staff were of high standards friendly and made a fuss of my Grand Daughter all the time many thanks for that and a credit to the hotel. All members of Staff were at all times friendly helpful and smiled and helped wherever they could, food was lovely rooms were of a good standard and cleaners were fast and efficient, Hotel reception lovely and friendly. The Hotel is nor far from anything walking distance to shops main town area and could not be any closer to the sea than already is. Weather was as a couple we had visited Zakynthos for last 8 years in different parts Weather 28-31 c Night around 21 - 25c depending on wind. can rain at times but usually so un predictable we had a little spurts on a few days heavy 1 night. Depends on month and mother nature, also been there before none at all :) Hotel provides good air con, room safe, Kettle & Cups. There is a Night Stay Tax Per Room 1.50 euro per night Location from Airport Max 20 mins by pre booked travel service Small shops 3 min walk i.e. milk drinks etc / Restaurants from 5mins away all over. Spar supermarket approx. 10 mins Pool area well maintained can be cool or warmer depends on time of day Decent sunbeds with padded mattress free to use, towels for customer use at reception. Internet is free for use at Hotel ( remember Zakynthos an island sometimes its weak ) Reception can resolve anything you may need Info , directions , or any problems. All you need is to relax enjoy worth a visit :)

Family holiday 2 adults 2 kids aged 17 & 14 and stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. Cant think of anything bad to say but lots of great things. We booked directly and were contacted a few days before arrival to organise a transfer from the airport. Car was there and lots of room- great start. The room was ready (it was about 5pm) and was clean and tidy. We stayed in a family room with a ground floor and mezzanine level and best of all 2 bathrooms. The rooms were cleaned daily with towel changes and there was also a gown and slippers for all of us to enjoy. Fresh bottled water was left every day by the cleaning team. We had breakfast daily there was a lot of choice and if you don’t want cooked there was lots of fruit yogurt pastries toast fresh juice water and lots of cooked choices - you are spoiled for choice and the quality was great - very tasty. We never had dinner in the hotel but saw the bbq being set up and it looked lovely. All of the staff were very nice and the place just seemed very relaxed at all times. There was no race for a sunbed in the morning and drinks and ice creams around the pool were a daily occurrence for us. The sea is amazing and only a few steps away. It’s warm with a few waves mainly in the afternoon and the hotel have paddle boards you can use free of charge. We had lunch here a few times and the setting right on the beach with the breeze is just lovely and the food was always beautiful and plenty! Looking online I thought there would be sunbeds on the beach but the tide was so far in they couldn’t have put any there - not sure if this is a one off or time of year or just the coastline has changed - there was sunbeds on the beach nearby but you had to pay for them so we stayed by the pool and walked down the steps when we wanted to swim. The pool is also lovely and was usually quiet . The hotel provided shower gel/shampoo and small soaps. We also had a kettle and fridge (small freezer compartment) and both bathrooms had hairdryers. We were sad to leave but the transfer back was also just as smooth. The area itself is a lot bigger than we thought it would be as the resort seems to just keep going and there are loads of restaurants to choose from which is why we didn’t eat in the hotel. I loved my time here and we will definitely come back

Had a great week holiday at Iakynthos, Tsvili Besch Hotel this August. Located directly on the superb beach and 5 minutes to the lovely centre of Tsvili where you can choose quiet or lively bars and restaurants. Lots of great experiences with all the staff being excellent, professional and very attentive, swimming pool and bar area always clean, free sun beds on the beach and only a few steps away - though only 12 beds on the beach but plenty more around the pool and always available. We had a standard double room, which was comfortable and cleaned daily, and had a large emperor sized bed, a mini fridge and working air conditioning. The only negative is that the shower is a bit dated and could do with an upgrade replacing the shower curtain with a shower cubicle or screen as the curtain didn't quite fit inside the shower tray so the bathroom floor was wet during every shower and needed a bit of mopping up. The biggest positive experience was the food and having breakfast and evening dinner with that sea and coastal view ☀️ the food was 5 star and the best we've likely experienced in a hotel with large portions and absolute fantastic quality every day! Overall, a great hotel with its 3 star rating with 5 star food and staff! A great hotel in a lovely place of Tsvili. Would definitely recommend 👌

Wow what can I say... the friendliest staff ever!! I love this hotel. Great location on the beach with loads of bars and restaurants close by. The breakfast is delicious and lunch has plenty of choice. The staff Manos 1, Manos 2, Emma,Jeo,Elpida, Violetta,Mary,Zanif, Florian and the lady who cleaned our room daily were all fantastic (really sorry if I have forgotten anyone) BBQ definitely good value for money. Get up for the beautiful sunrise. The only negative I think is inflatables and balls should be saved for the beach and not the pool.

The hotel with a direct access to the beach and a lovely view of the sea is awesome. As for the food, it is delicious, especially the breakfast. They serve a homemade orange juice, which will be filled up every time one has drunken upntheir glass. A downside of the hotel is the the shower in the Standard Double Room, which needs a renovation. Moreover, they should change the cleaning lady who tends to be lazy when making up the room. Sometimes we found some hair on the floor which means that she never cleaned it properly. She also tended to put our second sheet on our suitcase storage which is not hygienic at all. All in all, the hotel is still a must on Zakynthos and the place to be in Tsilivi if you fancy a sea front hotel with free comfortable sunbeds and a soft vacation.

Lovely bright airy hotel right on the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful! We had a family room with an upstairs bedroom which meant the teenagers had some privacy. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Fridge, kettle, slippers and bathrobes all provided. Table, chairs and somewhere for towels to dry provided in the patio area. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottled water added to fridge. We tried out the complimentary paddle boards and saw they also had other equipment which could be borrowed free of charge. As other reviewers have mentioned, worth investing in shoes for sea as there are some stones in the shallows when entering the sea from the front of the hotel. Don’t worry if forget to bring them as you can buy them cheaply in the shops nearby. Food was lovely especially the breakfasts! Well done to the staff at Iakinthos, would definitely recommend! A shout out to Emma, Jeo, Manos and Mary! 😃

Lovely hotel on the beach, very friendly and warm staff particularly in the dining hall who have the biggest smiles ( Emma, Mary, Florian to name a few). Great breakfast with fabulous sea views, set dinner menu ok. Rooms good. Hotel would benefit from a lounge and luggage room . Hotel close to town centre with great restaurants very close by
