For the first time I am persuaded to write a review mid holiday we are 4 days out of 7 into our winter beak at the H10 Lanzarote Princess . My advice, avoid unless you are B and B and then think twice . To be completely fair our room is nice , the pool area lovely with plenty of amenities. Entertainment pretty much what you would expect and the hotel benefits from a great location 15 min walk from the marina, 2 mins from the beach and 5 mins from the resort centre. There are some queues for drinks not helped by the poor admin staff have to do for each drink . Not too bad I hear you say , however and it is a huge point the dining experience either for breakfast or more importantly dinner is a disaster. The buffet canteen, it doesn’t deserve any other title is a shambles, the furniture is old , stained and frankly needs a good clean , the layout a joke with hot foods ( and I use the term loosely) spread out at random , more often than not plates , glasses and cutlery not available but worst of all the food is poor , very poor . We had 4 different meals all stone cold ( we’re supposed to be hot) and my partner having given up on finding something warm got a salad and discovered a hair in it . On complaining to restaurant staff we were pointed in the direction of a microwave and told to heat the food ourselves! We are currently in discussions with Jet 2 and the hotel to explore options , eating at the hotel not being 1 of them . In all good conscience I can not recommend this place , there are clearly issues going on which the customer service rep acknowledged as we are not alone by any means with these views. This is a long rant I know but I’ve tried to be balanced and honest , my advice look elsewhere. If either the hotel or Jet2 find a solution I will certainly let you know .
