Elysia Wellness Retreat

Guests appreciate the friendly staff, stunning views, and luxurious amenities such as pools, spa treatments, and comfortable rooms. However, some may find the location remote.

This was not my first visit to Elysia and I left feeling relaxed, refreshed and ready. The rooms are spacious with super comfortable bedding. The bathrooms are huge with heaps of vanity space to spread yourself out if you need. The view from my room was relaxing with gorgeous sunset colours each night and lots of kangaroos to watch at dusk. The restaurant served delicious meals and the waitstaff were always happy to help and smiling. Morning and afternoon tea were tasty and the mocktails are a fun way to introduce dinner. I love the big communal dining tables if that’s what you want or there are smaller tables if that’s what you prefer. The cooking demonstration was a great night and one you don’t want to miss if you are there. The daily program is great, you can do as much or as little as you want and there is no pressure to participate. I love the sunrise tai chi and the water running class they both kick start my day. The instructors are all super helpful and have great positive attitudes. The spa is so relaxing and there’s a huge range of options available. I always try to experience something I have never heard of or done plus a favourite if time permits. I can’t remember all the little things that you don’t even think of unless you are writing a review like undercover parking for your car if you drive. The veggie garden visit or the people you meet and take home as friends. The Guest Speakers, the pool oh wow love the pool! I don’t even miss the coffee, chocolate or alcohol.

This experience was very special- life changing sound dramatic but I have come away with so much more knowledge on my health and well being through the “gurus” at the retreat. A place to truly disconnect with the world and reconnect with myself- thank you Mel and the whole team. Well done.
