My wife and I stayed at the hotel for three nights on a B&B basis. I thought it was brilliant. The buffet breakfast was excellent, fresh and cooked well. The room was a bit dated but was clean and the shower was good. A special thank you to Despina who was such a lovely and very helpful lady, who was working her little socks off. Perhaps the owners could have done a bit more in the way of staffing to help her. The pool was large and there was always beds available. It would be an advantage if you had a car to explore the local area's, as the hotel is quite away from the main drag where you would catch buses. When we return to the area, we would definitely stay at the Akamanthea again.
