Wonderful stay, walking distance from beach, food is awesome.

Amazing and comfortable stay, vishal and vaishali did an amazing job, made sure of every minute thing, they helped us with everything, organising the evening dates, cleaning and keeping the room presentable. The property is a must visit, it has private beach, with a beautiful view.

The palatial property is stunningly beautiful, with large, elegant rooms that are comfortably furnished in high colonial style. Unfortunately, our experience with the hospitality on our first night has been very disappointing. We hope it will improve over the next few days. Our stay at the LaLiT began on a rough note. We had paid the hotel for an airport transfer, and yet nobody was waiting for us at the airport. We were unable to reach the hotel by telephone for 30 minutes. After calling different numbers and listening to many rings and rings and hangups we finally reached someone who gave us the number of the driver. When we called the driver he said he thought our flight was cancelled - it was not! - and that he was halfway back to the hotel. He refused to return to the airport, and that was that. We were stranded at the airport and had to make our own arrangements with some shady driver at the airport. At no point did the hotel follow up to help us travel from the airport, or express concern that we had been stranded. This experience demonstrated to us that The LaLiT takes its customers for granted, and their interest in hospitality ends as soon as the suckers have been lured in and the pre-payment clears. We have not received a refund for the fraudulent taxi, nor any accommodation for our inconvenience. I will update this review if the situation changes. One other note: At the buffet dinner we don't recommend eating non-veg. They were serving chicken that was clearly spoiled and claimed that we must not like vinegar or Goan spices. We know what rotten meat smells like and we know what vinegar and spices smell like. This was rotten meat.

Magnificent property..extremely spacious rooms but atrocious service! Response of staff is tardy, reluctant and poor. In their attempt to cut costs, management has reduced manpower to such an extent, that buffet meals in restaurants are an absolute mayhem and challenge. Staff seems to be under constant pressure and hence they appear irritated and hassled, even in simplest of requests. Housekeeping team as well as Front office reflect this constant feeling of lack of manpower as well as inability to cope with guests. This then takes away from the overall experience. A supposed 5 star property qoth 255 suites and 10 villas, has kinky 2 wheelchairs!! And there is a 30-40 mins wait for wheelchairs, at times.. Property is spread over 85 acres and is huge. For many in our group of 36 people, the distances to everything, became a nuisance and a challenge. Also the property is located in an isolated area with no activity nearby. Might suit people looking for peace and isolation in Goa. Jacuzzi which was listed out as one of the amenities, was kept non functional. No activities for kids, during the day. Overall, will not recommend to anyone

Housekeeping -Sudesh and Aniket are good. They are willing to clean the room more than once. Kudos to them. They made our stay comfortable. To top it all Sudesh is ever smiling. They solved the AC problem. Pool is cool. Food is average. Breakfast menu can use some imagination.
