I had an excellent stay at Hotel Sudu Araliya in Polonnaruwa! The location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene ambiance. The highlight of my visit was witnessing the sunset – it was a truly magical experience.
The food was delicious, with a great variety to satisfy every palate. The staff provided exceptional customer service, always friendly and attentive to our needs, making the stay even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with great views, excellent food, and warm hospitality, Hotel Sudu Araliya is the perfect choice. Highly recommended! 🌅🍽️✨

This was a great location in Polonnaruwa. We loved all the services provided. The hotel had a great garden and I would say this is one of the best hotel gardens ever experienced in Sri Lanka. I specially thank front office “Hansika” which she was very proactive in helping out, also her wonderful customer service to all of us stayed at the hotel. We also would like to thank “Dilshan” for his services throughout dining. We wish both of these staff very well and hope to come back soon. Also would definitely recommend the place for wonderful stay with fantastic views over Parakrama Samdudraya.

The room was very clean and the service was good. It was right by the lake and the sunset was beautiful. It's just that it's stingy. It charges more than 7,000 for a 12-year-old child. Although the hotel policy is like this, it doesn't feel very good.

We stayed there for one night , half board. we had dinner and breakfast . the food was delicious. had a cocktail in the evening . The staff was friendly . The room was spacious and clean. bathroom was clean . Overall i would give a 5/5 . I am an interior architect and it is our first romantic getaway . The hotel is a star hotel, sits just 7km from kaduruwela ,Polonnaruwa , with a view of lake Parakrama Samudra in the historical city in the heart of Sri Lanka . There are so many historical sites to visit in Polonnaruwa. The hotel feels so peaceful & romantic , with the garden and the view of the lake . The rooms are quite spacious and feels fresh . The bed and pillows just feels right , we just fell asleep in our arms . The Dinner and the breakfast was a delight . Presentation was quite good. Compliments to the Chef. We had chicken stake as a main course for dinner and Sri Lankan Cuisine for Breakfast . It was one of our first romantic getaways and it went so well and we cherished our memories thanks to the crew at Hotel Sudu Araliya.

I really want to visit Polonnaruwa on last weekend, The day I made a reservation Hotel Sudu Araliya was almost booked, there was no good view room, however when I were there I got very good room with beautiful view receptionist Hansika did the check in for me.. Hansika was arrange a compatible room with awesome view, Hansika was take us quick hotel tour as well, showed us everything Ex:- Treehouse, swimming pool, restaurant .. ect Our last weekend was woow Everything was fantastic.. good luck Hotel Sudu Araliya Thank you..

Room quality was terrible. Noises from neighboring rooms made very unpleasant stay. Food quality and services were below par. Perhaps they tricked us as we paid total price in advaced. what ever so I never go back to this place. As family we ourselves inc kid had a bad experiences
