Brilliant time spent at Kareiga Main Lodge resort. Our guide, Matt, was excellent, very knowledgeable and humorous, and we saw loads of animals in their natural habitats. Food and drink was great, and bar was well-stocked and not overpriced. Overall, an amazing time and rounded off a fantastic trip to South Africa!

What a blast to stay at Kariega Game Reserve for the third time! We enjoyed every second and the team was amazing as always, from the Reservations team, the lodge team to the guide Mondé! Many thanks :) This time we stayed at the Ukhozi Lodge, what a lovely place!

Kariega provides a luxury safari experience with knowledgeable guides who both educate and entertain. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The early starts are a shock on holiday but well worth it to see the wildlife - just don’t overdo the wine the night before! Highly recommend.

After 10 years we were back to Kariega with the whole family. And it was another fantastic stay, this time at the River Lodge. From the very first moment we felt so welcomed and well looked after that you simply don't want to leave ;-) The location of the River Lodge in stunning. Boat trips, canoeing, swimming, hiking, walking, everything is possible. The game drives in Kariega are always an exceptional experience. Due to the large size of the reserve and the excellent wildlife consersation management you can observe all the animals without disturbing them or feeling crowded with other drivers. We have been to several parks in South Africa menawhile and Kariega is simply a diamond and certainly the most beautiful park in the Eastern Cape. Thanks to all for hosting us. It was an unforgettable rich stay.

Super Service, angenehmes Publikum, schön Ausfahrten. viel gesehen. Das Essen war ein Gedicht. Megan war unsere Fahrerin und hat unsere Wünsche stets berücksichtigt. So kamen alle auf ihre Kosten. Sie ging bspw. auch auf die Wünsche ein, wenn Motive zu weit oder zu fern waren und platzierte uns so optimal für schöne Fotos. Aber auch das andere Personal war stets bemüht, unsere Tage perfekt zu gestalten und liessen keine Wünsche offen.

Wonderful accommodations and a wonderful experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. He took the time to show everyone what they wanted but also introduced interesting features which we were not aware of. The meals were all good and the beverage selection will accommodate most. Could not recommend enough.

The place is amazing. Accomodation, The Safari, the staff, The food , it is all great The good thing about this place is that it is not far from Port Elizabeth Airport ( approx 80 minutes by car ). Not that many people going there so is more quit. It is a bit more pricy then other places but you get value for money.
