Just back from a very relaxing holiday staying at this hotel. I was a bit. On earned on arrival when we were directed out of the hotel to across the road and into another building. Not sure why when the hotel was constructed the rooms were only designed for a maximum of 2 people. Our room had a bedroom, bathroom and lounge with sofa bed and small but well equipped kitchen. The bathroom had a sliding door which didn’t slide all the way and whilst the shower was an excellent size the grout on the tiles could have done with a good scrub. Breakfast was excellent, but all tables on the terrace were set for 2 people, but there were many people who had to sit inside due to having a large group of people. The pool area was lovely and despite previous reviews we had no problem getting a sun lounger at any time. The bar staff here were very attentive and helpful. Surprised that the hotel doesn’t have a proper restaurant, the breakfast room would make a nice one. All in all a nice hotel, great location

The hotel I am sure Is lovely but we got out in serviced apartment block behind the hotel that you had to cross the street to get to . I have never felt so conned in all my life . I will upload photos of what the block looked like . Cheap apartment , cheap linen , air con poor . 6 K for a week for this feels like fraud . Heard 2 other groups complaining already . Please be very careful . Booked hotel stayed in Cheap serviced apartment

Really disappointed! Booked a hotel room with balcony - ended up in a separate building from the hotel, in an apartment, no balcony. If I wanted to stay in an apartment I could have booked one £300-£400 cheaper than paying for a hotel room I never got. We arrived at midnight due to a flight delay, the guy at reception had no idea about anything. Asked him about the bike room - blank face. Asked him about where our room was - again, blank face and no idea. So we spent 20 minutes looking for our room #15 in the hotel as he was certain it was in the hotel, only to then realise it was in a completely different building across the road. Really disappointing. TV remote badly taped up with a sellotape so the batteries wouldn’t fall out. Definitely not the 4* star hotel and/or service that I expected.

Just returned yesterday from a weeks break in the daina apartments. Having stopped in Puerto pollensa several times & the daina hotel this time we stopped in an apartment due to the cost now being charged to stay in the hotel . We had room 14 facing the road , the noise was unbearable every morning woken up by the deafening noise at 6am of bin men, delivery drivers, bottle recycling trucks motorbikes Etc it was horrendous. This happens every morning it was awful . 2 days before we were due to leave our room was leaking water from the ceiling. We were given 50 minutes to pack & move to room 34 . From what we hoped would be a nice relaxing break left us both shattered considering the extortionate price we payed we really did expect better .

I have just returned last night from Daina Apartments in Puerto Pollensa. There were 3 adults in our party, myself, my sister & our mum who is 83. We chose these APTS on the proximity to the centre of the resort & it was very central. The apartments were not really suitable for 3 adults in my opinion. I slept on the couch/sofa bed in living room, as only 1 double bedroom (which we knew) but overall I felt the apt was a bit on the small side. I also need to stress that the balcony is TINY!!....there was a small plastic table and 2 chairs, plus a small clothes dryer attached to the balcony..I myself sat on the balcony a couple of nights before bed, and it was a tight squeeze for me.....and I'm not a big person! It would be a very tight squeeze for 2 never mind 3!..Also, despite knowing our booking was for 3 adults, on 2 occasions I had to go over to the hotel after the cleaner coming in, to get a 3rd towel as only 2 were left. The reception staff were lovley, very helpful & courteous and a nice clean shower room with shower gel etc & clean towels was available after checkout if anyone required this. That's was fabulous. Overall, the only positives for me, were the location, lovley reception staff & it was clean. I don't feel that the apartments were worth the price that we paid to be honest. Puerto pollensa as a resort is lovley, but is missing something for me..couldn't really put my finger on it, tho I did over hear another guest at pool describing PP as having a 'lack of character'. Lots of restaurants, but again, nice food but not great food.

Just returned from these apartments and really enjoyed our stay. We were in the hotel in June and love that from the apartment you can use the hotel facilities. We had a studio apartment. It was spotlessly clean and had all the equipment and facilities we needed for a week in the sun. Beds were very comfortable and because you are on the street side ear plugs help you block out the normal street noise and to sleep. The staff in the hotel and apartments are friendly and professional. Particular mention of Antonio and Marga (hope I have got the name right) at terrace bar/restaurant and Manolo at the pool bar. These three are exceptional, work so very hard, always friendly, helpful and professional. Also Marta at reception, made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return. We noted some new staff some of which were clearly learning the ropes, we could see how they have improved already. This is just the same as in hospitality in the UK, new staff just need a little patience to gain experience.

The apartment was big and spacious and had good facilities, and the pool itself was lovely, however the noise coming from the surrounding area and the room above was unbearable - there was loud music coming from the square until at least 2am (despite being a short walk away from the square,it sounded like the bands were on our balcony), and we were woken up early every morning from the trucks and lorries on the road outside. There was no soundproofing at all. We could also hear upstairs whenever they moved a chair or something across the floor. It was also really expensive for what it was - nearly £800 for 3 nights for a basic 1 bed apartment.

Lovely apartment with the exception of the balcony which couldn't seat 2 people. facilities were fab. Great shower, kitchen and breakfast bar. Would have loved to eat on the balcony but 1. its was too noisy and 2. you couldn't seat 2 people on it. Payback for the location which is handy to beach and marina. Balcony overlooked the busy back street behind the hotel. The cleaners were exception noisy. Cupboard was right next to the bedroom and at 6am on the button they would open the cupboard discuss their day and move things around in the cupboard. Didn't sleep past 6am any morning for the week of our holiday. Hotel facilities were fav. Great pool, gym was adequate, and hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful.
