I was extremely unhappy with the cleanliness and conditions. (I took photos) The only up side is there were clean sheets and no bugs. My friend who had suggested the hotel said his room had been renovated and comfortable but when I asked the manager (owner?) about the renovated rooms he replied they had only done a few. He was not rude but not friendly until I started discussing the state of the room, then he made an effort to be pleasant.

It was a very pioneer look, very convienient from the Ferries. A nice walk to see the spawning salmon. Host was very polite & would stay here again.

This property is located near a junk yard. Our room’s floor slanted and the bed tilted to conform to the tilt of the floor. We did not stay. One look at the room, and we found other accommodations. One important feature that was omitted by Expedia—the only restaurant featured sushi.
As we dashed out of there, the proprietor tried to encourage us to stay in his best broken English. We could not leave fast enough.
