From our first contact to book our room back in January 2024 to checking out 11 months later, everything about our 7 night stay was handled very promptly and professionally. We asked for a first floor room and ‘Jasmine’ was perfect in every way. A large, well serviced bedroom and a lovely balcony, with views across the beautiful gardens. There was never an issue over sun beds and the beach butlers were very attentive. Many are on the grassed area immediately behind the beach, which suited us fine. We enjoyed our breakfast in the lovely restaurant and especially the hard working ladies at the ‘egg station’. Fantastic sea views to enjoy along with the food. We dined there for 5 nights of our stay and enjoyed each meal, including the BBQ buffet. The dessert menu is however too repetitive. The overall ambiance is, as many other guests have noted, very friendly and welcoming. We were fortunate to be invited to cocktails/canapes with the O’Hara family. A fascinating insight into the history of the Island and its people. Go and enjoy.

Where do I start…….. Our daughter got married here on 12th December. Mark greeted us was truly welcoming From start to finish at this magical hotel it was first class, unassuming and unpretentious. The wedding was beautiful, had a steel band in the courtyard then a wonderful meal in another part of the hotel, in fact part of the owners house, very private, staff were amazing. The food and drinks were superb. A family of monkeys passing our suite! Spotlessly clean, decor stunning. The newly weds went off to Antigua for their honeymoon easy to do! then back with us in beautiful Barbados Thank you all at Coral Reef Club for making such a memorable wedding, we will certainly be back.

My 3rd or 4th visit to Coral Reef, and as usual, a good standard. Sadly the beach had been eroded away by the summer storms. And my favourite, the floating pontoon which was in front of the adjacent Colony Club was gone. I did not stay as long as expected, as issues in the Middle East required me to to leave. I will be back .. thank you Coral Reef.

We stayed here for 10 nights in the Vinca Room, beautifully appointed with stunning views across the bay. The property and gardens are maintained to a very high standard. Housekeeping and Beach Butlers provided excellent service. Beyond that, we were disappointed. At breakfast check in you are told to find your own table (I take this as code for 'we can't be bothered seating you') and frequently there were no free tables set up. This often resulted in us sitting at a table which was half set; we never knew who was serving us and no one advised us there were additional breakfast items, such as Eggs Benedict, available to order from the kitchen. The quality of the fruit juice, pastries, etc left a lot to be desired. Given the mediocre quality of the breakfast, we were not tempted to have lunch or dinner when there are so many excellent restaurants within walking distance in Holetown. The service in the bar was equally poor. Although this is a family run business, management is not particularly visible and there seems to be an air of general complacency about the hotel which may be down to the high proportion of repeat elderly guests. Overall we would rate the room and grounds as '5', but the breakfast and general service as a generous '3'. We would not stay here again.

From the minute we arrived at the Coral Reef Club we were made to feel at home. The staff throughout are the happiest, friendliest people I have ever met. They go above and beyond to make your holiday special. The hotel is immaculately clean and the housekeeping staff exceptional. The hotel is family owned and various members of the family are seen working with the staff throughout the hotel. The restaurant has beautiful ocean views and is kept cool and airy by ceiling fans. The menu is varied to suit all tastes. The beef is exceptionally good. I look forward to my next visit to this very special hotel on a beautiful island.

We have stayed at Coral Reef several times now and and as usual found the staff brilliant, willing and cheerful. The food is excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff training is absolutely excellent and I believe they own (?) Sandpiper hotel where I called in for a coffee and again there was absolutely first class service and a much smaller hotel with excellent staff there also. we are back in a few days time for a short visit.

We’ve only been here for 3 days prior to a cruise in Explora 2. I wasn’t expecting to find the Hotel I’ve always been looking for. It’s the perfect mix of luxury and authentic, heartfelt service. We’ve travelled extensively and how ever luxurious the destination has been this is something I don’t think we’ve experienced to this degree elsewhere. So many staff who have been here for years and are clearly proud to be part of this hotel family and are obviously emotionally invested in this place. Our cottage - Frangipanni was as gorgeous as the name suggests opening onto lush Caribbean gardens, the beach and turquoise sea. The food is first class - better and less expensive than some of the long standing fine dining restaurants we visited. We celebrated my birthday and our anniversary whilst here and on both occasions received a thoughtful gift and card. We are amongst the few “first time” guests here on this occasions but we fill be back sure!. I would say that the website does not do the property justice but given that it seems pretty much everyone who stays her once returns and returns maybe you don’t need it to! In summary, I don’t think there is any where better to stay on the island. Until next time you lovely people!

We had a delightful and lovely stay at the Coral Reef Club, from the time that we arrived until the time that we left. the caliber of service was amazing! Everyone is so friendly and attentive. We were so surprised when we checked in. Our flight was later in the day, and it was about 11:15pm when we arrived. We were greeted with, "We thought you might be hungry and left refreshments in your room." We were and were so appreciative of the delicious sandwiches! When we left, one of the breakfast servers said, "I know this is your favorite table and reserved it for you!" How extraordinary thoughtful! Our stay included breakfast, which was wonderful every morning. In addition to the buffet with eggs, sausage, bacon, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc., it includes a made-to-order station of fresh omelets, waffles, and French toast. The morning standard coffee is French-press Lavazza! Unlike other resorts that we have stayed at, there was plenty of seating and we could choose where we sat. Because the resort is located on the west coast, the sunsets from the lounge were stunning and it was a great place to relax at the end of the day. The resort does not have many ocean view rooms; however, the entire property is a stunning tropical garden. Our room had a huge balcony with a beautiful view of the grounds. The room was comfortable. The hotel has an excellent location. After touring the island, we found that Holetown is one of the best places to stay with excellent restaurants and shopping. The hotel is located two properties away along the coast from Folkstone Marine Park which has one of the best reefs on the island. Guests at the resort are very friendly and delightful. Given that Barbados is part of the British Commonwealth, most of the guests are British. Many have stayed at the resort previously multiple times and even together year-after-year. But of course, why would one consider staying elsewhere when you can stay here? We would love to stay here again on a return trip to Barbados.

I have recently spent 12 days at the Coral Reef Club and I just had to let you know how utterly wonderful everything was. All the staff – without exception – were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was first class and all in all my stay was just what I needed! My room, Banyan, could perhaps do with a slight re-fresh, but that is the only (slight) negative that I experienced. So I will definitely be back! Thank you everyone for making my solo stay so wonderful!
