Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean and spacious, the shower was probably the best shower i’ve ever used in Europe. The food in the restaurant was serviceable but the staff was great and the live music was a nice plus. The views were arguably the best I saw in Positano. Getting to downtown was easy with the conveniently located steps. I never took the bus back but it stopped right in front of the entrance( I needed to work off all the food I ate). Overall for staying in Positano at an affordable hotel it was a great experience. Would love to visit again (shoutout Renato the bartender for making our drinks on the patio a memorable experience every night!)

We had a very good experience with this hotel. Situated across the beach, near to the bus station and close to the railway station, the hotel has big, spacious rooms, with all the ammenities needed. The breakfast was great, with a lot of choices, and mostly, the breakfast room was a rooftop with such an amazing view over the sea and vezuvius. Everything was perfect

This hotel was formerly a convent and is adjacent to a beautiful church, and the setting is serene and beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful that you could not ask for more. The room my wife and I stayed in was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the coffee was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and the service given was among the best we’ve ever experienced. There is complimentary wi-fi ( a rarity these days with most establishments charging a small premium) . We had a lovely stay which was predominantly down to the staff and in particular a lovely lady named Theresa who always went out of her way and was so accommodating. Although the hotel is listed as a “Three Star” it feels like a “5 Star”. Stunning , and would not hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed at Le Sirenuse solo for only one night leading up to a wedding in Ravello and am so glad that I did! The stay was basically flawless. An easy transfer organized by the hotel from Naples and a smooth check-in experience with Maria at the front desk kicked off the stay. I arrived before my room was ready, and Maria did a great job of reviewing my itinerary, explaining how to make the most of my limited time on-property and smoothly handing me off to various English-speaking employees before I arrived at the pool restaurant for lunch. The pool, bar and casual restaurant are the heart of the property because of their extraordinary views of Positano and the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is truly one of the best views one could desire for lunch, pool lounging, reading etc. (and with views are clear and sunny most days the property is opened between April and October). Food across the board was excellent. I had a wonderful lunch at the pool (tomato salad and club sandwich) with generous portions, a nice bread service with housemade tapanade and Le Sirenuse olive oil, an amuse bouche and very attentive staff (e.g. they offered a table in the shade as the sun shifted midway through my meal, they brought another cocktail, olives and almonds to snack on after I finished my meal). La Sponda was a wonderful experience too. Elevated food featuring local ingredients, a flexible menu, live music and beautiful views (as with everywhere on this property). The service is what really stood out in a week full of great food — I was instantly recognized and greeted when I came down the stairs for dinner, the sommelier did an amazing job of pairing the a la carte dishes I chose with local wines, and the service was warm and helpful, but never overwhelming or pushy. I was in the base room as I booked a couple of weeks before my stay at a time when the property is generally sold out. The room was very comfortable, and had a nice view (albeit limited compared to the higher room categories). There was a festival in town that night so it was wonderful listening to the sounds of Italian music, Positano and sea breezes outside of my window while lounging in the room...and thankfully the sound insulation was great when it was time for bed. I loved the take-home gift offered in the room (I won’t spoil it), and all of the thoughtful touches, local handiworks and artwork throughout the property that extended to the room. It was basically a perfect stay. The only constructive criticism I would offer is that the gym is limited in the weight equipment it offers — it would be great to get a full rack of free weights to use as the one set of adjustable dumbbells that they have was in use while I was there so I had to wait a while, and the base rack only goes up to 20kgs or so. I would love to return and stay for longer. L'Hotel Le Rocce è l'espressione concreta di cio che il suo direttore e staff trasmettono ovvero professionalità, cordialità, cura, attenzione ad ogni dettaglio ma soprattutto un senso di familiarità che mai ho trovato in altri alberghi nei mei lunghi viaggi. Ma adesso vorrei essere ancor più dettagliato... inizio dalla reception... tutto il personale è stato fin da subito chiaro, professionale, cordiale e sintetico nel fornirci ogni spiegazione nel suo singolo dettaglio ma soprattutto l'eleganza e la cortesia nel portarci in camera le valigie e mostrandoci ciò che la nostra splendida camera ci offriva... si la camera... chiamarla così è quasi riduttivo perché è proprio uno spettacolo... dalla pulizia in ogni angolo al profumo passando dal bagno che è molto grande, pulito, con il rivestimento in simmetria ma soprattutto abbiamo anche la cromo terapia... ma tornando alla camera il pavimento è super lusso per chi se ne intende lo sa apprezzare e riconoscere quindi complimenti alle governanti che ogni giorno danno il massimo per mantenere le camere pulitissime e brillant... siete eccezionali in tutto.... ma il vero fiore all'occhiello è il balcone con vista mozzafiato sulla costiera... veramente top... la prima colazione è abbondante, varia, con prodotti freschi e genuini e c'è veramente di tutto dal salato al dolce veramente ampia scelta... il personale in sala è veramente eccezionale, ci siamo sentiti fin da subito a casa... in famiglia.... e questo grazie a Salvatore che sa avere un occhio particolare e seguire ciò che avviene in sala e nei tavoli.... gli esterni poi sono da favola.... dalla scalinata in pietra, dove chi volesse può anche rivolgere una preghiera nella vicina nicchia con la Madonnina e vari santi... un atmosfera unica e poi la piscina... wow... un plus veramente eccezionale... tutto lo staff a disposizione con teli già pronti e presenza continua per soddisfare ogni esigenza ma in conclusione vorrei elogiare il direttore... semplicemente un grande... è stato sempre presente, cordiale e attento ad ogni cliente presente ma non solo a me ha colpito che lui stesso in prima persona serviva ai tavoli e si cura di tutto in prima persona .... che dire ... è da prendere sicuramente da esempio perché se l'hotel le rocce ha lasciato questi sentimenti sicuramente lo deve alla cura e gestione del Sign. Baldassarre Durazzo.... grazie ancora per la stupenda esperienza siete stati fantastici.... CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

How this hotel does not have 5 stars is beyond me. We reached out last minute after a terrible customer service experience at another hotel and Daniela, at the other end of the phone, was so incredible. Although there were no family rooms available they did have a brand new apartment close to the hotel free. We could avail ourselves of all the hotel's amenities (breakfast, pool, bar, etc.) throughout. The apartment was perfect, but what impressed me most was the the level of customer service. Everyone, from the team preparing for the weddings being hosted while we were there, to Elena and the team in the restaurant was attentive and warm. Thank you again Daniela, Maria, Marika and Elena for making our stay so memorable. You deserve that extra star...I'm sure it's on its way. Also, make sure you visit the Scavi di Stabbia and Pizzeria da Iolanda while you are in Gragnano.

The Hosts make your stay a lovely time. Signor Beppe makes sure you have an easy holiday. His advice is honest and caring. The views you can see in the gallery are truly breath-taking and you are one hour away from all the major places such as Amalfi, Positano, Minori and Sorrento. We swam in the four different beaches and had lunch there too. Even the village itself is lively for evenings out when you wish to stay around. That is why we chose to stay there. We have plans to return so as to visit even more sites. For instance the Ercolano is on the way to the airport and is well worth the visit - so next time we shall visit Pompeii. Vesuvius is also an hour away and we bought excellent Buffalo milk Limoncello there, a novelty to us. And what about Ravello, what a sweet town with winding narrow streets opening onto a lovely tree-shaded Piazza Centrale and the Duomo. And a day in Capri with a lovely boat ride from Amalfi as advised by Signor Beppe. We take this opportunity to thank the whole family. Please take their advice and phone ahead if you have difficulties for your best choices or itinerary. And please slow down to enjoy the Tyrrhenian Sea and its rhythms, soak in the culture and smell the wine and the roses.
