Wir hatten von Deutschland aus das Elexus Hotel, laut Bildern ein modernes Luxushotel mit Wellnessbereich in den Bergen, gebucht. Bei Ankunft wurde uns ein Zimmer im Elexus boutique Hotel gegeben, das ein sehr altes Gebäude gegenüber des Elexus Hotels ist. Kein Aufzug vorhanden, sehr kleines Bad, keine Nutzung des Wellness Bereiches möglich, da eine private Party im Elexus Hotel stattfand. Wir waren angeblich keine Gäste des Elexus Hotels, obwohl wir dort eingecheckt haben. Daher wurde uns verweigert dort ein Abendessen und Getränke auf der wunderschönen Terrasse zu bestellen. Rüder unhöflicher Ostblock Ton, wir wurden im unverschämten Ton des Restaurants verwiesen. An den Tischen im Restaurant wurde gezockt und in der Nacht mega laute Partymusik. Einen Aufenthalt in den Bergen stellen wir uns anders vor. Wollten um 8 Uhr frühstücken. Alles zugesperrt in dem alten Gebäude, wieder Nachfrage gegenüber im Luxushotel, Antwort an der Rezeption, wieviel Uhr es denn sei.... Dann erhielten wir jedoch im alten Gebäude ein super leckeres Frühstücksbuffett mit sehr unhöflichem Personal.

We just love it! We cant wait to come back! The place is nicely decorated and pleasant. It is located on a quiet street. The staff is attentive, relaxed and smiling. Breakfast is varied. The restaurant has dishes that conquer you visually the first time and do not disappoint you when you taste them.

No elevator at all and you have some climbing to do with your luggage if you stay like we did at the second floor, then you spend around ten minutes in front of the door trying to open it with the card and the “secret code “. When you are finally inside the room you are shocked by the smallness of the bathroom and the lack of any balcony. As days goes by, nobody does any cleaning in the room and you end up without toilet paper. No jacuzzi and a big price for all of these.

We stayed for 3 nights(Thu-Fry-Sat) Restaurant: Breakfast has a lot of variety and is delicious. The food from the restaurant is great but kind of expensive. Dinks are decent and expensive aswell. For smokers there are only 3 tables that are kind of crowded and the tables were rarely cleaned(especially by the younger staff members who defenetly are highschool level at best) On weekends we had live violin music in the morning. Room: Cleaned every day around the time you should be enjoying breakfast. The sensor lights were broken, either flickering or non functional. Minibar was filled. Small balcony, good for smokers. Pool: One medium sized pool and 2 jacuzi with warm water ~35°C On weekdays you have more than enough spce but in weekends its so crowded you have no space if you don't show up at 10:30 when it opens. The drinks were smaller at the same price. Also the younger staff rarely goes further that the first 3-4 chairs(next to the entrance) to take orders. Parking: Free but limited at the hotel,you also can park on the street but its really steep and some drivers cand ram the cars that are parked in front of them.

Nice villa, old-style, all renewed and modernly refurbished, with cozy rooms, with 2 great advantages: small (only 20 rooms capacity) and it has one of the best restaurant on Prahova Valley, the old Robinson restaurant. It's not near the slopes, not far though, but it's a quiet place to relax and enjoy the mountain views and fresh air. It's connected with the main hotel and one can use the spa and pool facilities, but with an extra charge. Rules are a bit strange and rigid, some old habits are still present, but overall it's one of the best places in Predeal.
