Grecian Park

Protaras|0.76km from Cyclops Cave
The hotel Grecian park is situated a short cab journey away from town which suited us. The hotel Itself was magnificent. Our room was of an average size but I’m sure there were bigger available. There are numerous bars and restaurants situated within the hotel although a little pricey but to be expected. The staff were friendly and all facilities well kept. The hotel is situated above a small bay which can be accessed via the hotel shuttle or if you are feeling full of energy a really steep stairwell which is fine going down but a bit of admission coming back Up. There is a small supermarket across the road which sold most items . The price of a taxi into the main town was 12 euro. We found it a little too far to walk but I guess it would take around an hour at an average pace. There is a lovely coffee shop and bakers called Greggos around a 20 minute walk from the hotel which was really reasonable and sold some fantastic pastries. My one criticism of Cyprus and the only thing that would stop my return is the lack of care and compassion for the hundreds of stray cats. Considering the island relies on tourism it is quite disturbing how many stray cats wander the streets. There were six residents at the Grecian Park which seemed to rely on guests to make sure they were fed and watered but many more along the roadside looking very malnourished and in need of some care. Surely a programme to neuter and spay the cats would be of benefit reducing their ability to breed . I am not fanatical about cars but can not bare to see an animal suffer. Overall a great holiday but I would advise not to travel if you either don’t like cats or an animal Lover

Leonardo Crystal Cove Hotel & Spa – Adults Only

Protaras|0.71km from Cyclops Cave
We visited here for 10 nights on the all inclusive package in a suite with a hot tub and wow it has been one of the best holidays we have been on together. The room was spacious, clean, amazing views and the bed was really comfortable and big. The food was one of the best we have had for all inclusive. Great choice for breakfast including nice bacon and sausages, snack options available at the outside bar during the day, loads of lunch and dinner options with plenty of meat and veggie options, a gorgeous fresh salad bar and really good choice of deserts. Large selection of drinks included in the all inclusive package. The pool area is clean and well maintained, never a struggle to get a sunbed. Activities are available throughout the day including table tennis, darts and water volleyball. We didn’t get any treatments in the spa as we spent all of our time outside but everyone said the treatments were really nice and I used the gym a couple of times and it has everything you need. If you like running like me there is also a path that takes you right along the sea front which is pretty flat but is a bit of an uneven surface in places so I would recommend wearing off road trainers. I would recommend hiring a car as there are so many beautiful places to visit and there is a free car park on site to leave the car overnight. The hotel staff can help arrange this and they can drop it off at the hotel for you. The location is perfect as to the left you have protoras which has a ***** of restaurants, bars and shops and to the right you have Ayia Napa if you wanted to party one night. You can get the bus to both from the top of the street outside of the hotel which is only €2.50pp and run every 20 minutes. A short walk to the right you also have turtle bay and Konnos bay where we saw/swam with turtles twice which was an amazing experience and Konnos bay also has watersports available. Really recommend this hotel for a couples holiday we had the best time :)

Just back from an amazing 9 night stay. We were the first guests of the season :) The hotel and staff are truly a credit to the hotel and made us feel so welcome & always entertained our sometimes lively daughter :) Food in all restaurants was gorgeous, now on a diet! Snack bar all made fresh which was a great touch. Rooms modern and airy. Family sliding door room was large & had two tv's! Touch pads for lights etc. We went all inclusive & can stay it was one of the best we have been to. Freshly made cocktails were amazing. Pools very spacious & excellent waterpark. Unfortunately there was no entertainment which was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. However, we did experience a brilliant guitarist for one night only, shame no more. Not much for children either.. All in all we felt that the hotel should've had their entertainment programme & animation team already in place for opening. As we were leaving we felt that more was happening in terms of entertainment, maybe we were just unlucky? Thanks again for a fabulous holiday and maybe we'll be back one day :)
