Good hotel with swimming pool

Our first visit to the Galapagos Islands took us to Santa Cruz, where we chose the Hotel Fiesta as a base for numerous activities. The excellent reviews had inspired us to book – and we were not disappointed. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived: the reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Even if you don't speak Spanish, you can easily communicate in English. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It was cleaned daily, and the fresh towels were lovingly folded into little animal shapes – a charming touch. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was excellent with hot water always available. The air conditioning was quiet and reliable. A special bonus is the beautiful pool area with three whirlpools, which we made extensive use of after our excursions. Right next to it is a bar where you can enjoy delicious drinks; pool towels are provided free of charge, of course. The free luggage storage is also practical, which we used twice when we explored other islands for several days. The breakfast was fine, and the staff were as courteous as ever. If you have to leave early to catch a ferry, you get a free breakfast pack to take with you—a great service! The hotel's location is ideal: it's only a five-minute walk to the harbor, yet you can enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. We would particularly like to highlight the warmth and support of Gabriel and Vanessa at the reception, who were always on hand to help us with any questions or minor concerns we had. If our travels take us back to this island paradise, the Hotel Fiesta will definitely be our first choice again.

We only stayed one night, but this hotel was magnificent. Pool, hot tub, breakfast, bar, comfortable beds, what else would you want in a hotel in paradise? Forgot to mention that it is a 3-minute walk to the more populated area of the port, but nice and peaceful once you are at the hotel. Staff is very friendly, very helpful, and overall terrific. Would happily return to Puerto Ayora and stay in this hotel.

The room was simple but very clean. It was very well attended and quiet. We were able to rest and relax with the attentive staff. The air conditioning and shower worked great. A good value for quiet time on the Island and an easy walk to everywhere.

Really great staff! Very welcoming and hard working. The hotel could use a little maintenance. Beautiful landscaping.
