Popular Puerto Ayora 4-star Hotels

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. The location is great, at the quiet end of town near the Charles Darwin centre, away from the bar *****, right on the water and surrounded by mangroves, with a constant supply of sea lions, iguanas, pelicans, frigate birds and other birds to keep you entertained. We stayed in the Darwin room, which is really spacious, with a lovely sea-view balcony. Definitely worth paying extra for. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, the food and service always good. Santa Cruz is not the most beautiful of the islands but has lots of great attractions and is a perfect base for exploring other nearby islands on day trips. We did day trips to North Seymour and Bartolome and both were excellent. We chose a land-based holiday (ie staying in hotels rather than living on a boat) because we didn’t want to be stuck on a small boat with a group of people we didn’t know and might not get on with, and wanted more space and privacy. Very happy with that choice.

Although the hotel is a three-star hotel, there is a swimming pool + bubble pool, there is a table tennis table, and the space atmosphere has a holiday feeling (although I stayed for 2 nights and didn't go to the bubble). The location of the hotel is in the pier residential area. The room was small and the two boxes could not be opened. In front of each room, there was a simple wooden chair, but it was basically faded. Breakfast is served per person, a bit slow. Starting at seven o'clock, everyone generally has to catch up with the eight-point day tour group, some are too late.

The hotel is quite satisfactory. The service from the front desk girl is very enthusiastic and her English is also good. A meal to introduce surrounding attractions and entertainment projects. Can help introduce travel agencies. The prices and services are relatively reliable. The hotel environment is very style, and it is very comfortable to stay in the small courtyard. The only flaw is that the room is average. More like the standard of domestic three-star hotel. But very clean. The hotel includes breakfast.
