This is our second stay here, came last January and although there has been improvements, not in all areas and cleaning standards have dropped. Firstly the good bits: Pool area and pool bar are beautiful, spacious and clean having recently been refurbished. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Communal areas clean and fresh. Location perfect. The not so good bits: We were allocated a room with disabled facilities firstly , which on the face of it seemed roomy and bright, however the shower/ wet room flooded on the first night, all into room and corridor, the lovely reception lady was helpful with towels to mop up, but the problem was lack of cleaning the plug hole was full of black hair which I had to remove in order to solve the problem. The room had no table or chairs no where to sit and have a drink or snack, no towel rail to air towels, a light in the bathroom on a sensor that went in and stayed on forever it seems. The next morning we moved rooms and the drains smelled, the plug in the bath didn’t drain away and was rusty, the hand rail on the wall was rusty, the shower curtain had seen better days and towels were threadbare. The room was cleaned once which we knew but it was a quick clean as the floor was still dusty and one of the bedsheets had a hole in it.The lampshades above the bed had an inch of dust on them I never felt clean at all , such a shame as the pool area and the rest are good .I know it’s 2 star but needs some attention and upkeep.

We took a holiday away to a favourited location of ours, Lanzarote and decided to stay at the AEQUORA suites as it looked professional and relaxing enough to get away from stress. However little did we know a stress free holiday was going to become more stressful. One night as we were coming back from a walk towards the sea front, my mother used one of the ”disabled friendly” access ramps. She fell backwards on property of the hotel and has now become even more disabled with issues to walk and pelvis problems. She got an MRI at our local hospital yesterday and has confirmed that she has dislodged discs in her spine with nerve issues due to the fall, on a ramp that was supposed to be disable friendly. We spoke to one of the management who was lovely, but tried to blame the local Lanzarote council for the ramp and the fall. However the fall happened on the grounds and they're not willing to take responsibility for the incident. We were told to go to the hospital in Lanzarote but my mother declined as she has spent so much time in hospital recently and wanted a break. Not only did the fall happen once, but TWICE!!! Can't really label this hotel being disabled friendly if all it does is make the disabled, more disabled. Another problem we encountered was discrimination from the staff at AEQUORA, this doesn't apply to everyone but specifically the female assistant manager. With my mother being bound to a wheelchair for long distance and a walking stick for short distance because she has walking issues, we wanted to sit at a double table made for four, but only three of us were attending that table. We needed a bigger table and a quieter walk way so my mother doesn't get knocked and has a fall (Common occurrence here). However we were approached by a rude assistant manager who started saying how we weren't allowed to sit here and had to sit at a small 2 person table for 3 in a area with a lot of footfall, a tripping hazard for my mother and even my elderly grandfather. Me and my grandfather tried to explain to her that we needed to sit at a four person table (even though there is 3 of us) due to my mothers disability, which she rudely ignored and started putting her finger in me and my grandfathers face then ignored us and started talking down to my mother. For which my mother couldn't stick up for herself due to not having a voice at the minute due to medical reasons. I couldn't believe my eyes after the amount we have paid to come here, and the labels this hotel establishes itself with. After both these incidents we spoke our concerns to the Guest experience manager who was incredible. He gave us a table for 4 for us 3, and had a technician to come repair my mothers wheelchair temporarily which has now fully fallen apart due to the falls which occurred on site at the AEQUORA suites. I think this hotel is great for kids and families as long as there is no disabilities. Which is quite disappointing to see as you would think most places would be no

The rooms to the front do have a balcony overlooking the sea, the rooms to the other side of the building have a Juliet balcony overlooking the mountains and the city, which personally, I felt was the poorest capital city I have visited in Spain. The rooms in the middle don't even have a Juliet balcony! I wasn't in them but they surely get all the noise carried out through the inner courtyard, the people on the corridors, talking guests, suitcases carried... The rooms per se are fine, spacious and clean. If you are having to find a hotel in the capital, then this is perfect, otherwise, look a better accommodation place. The breakfast is alright... the coffee is poor quality. There is no pool, but the beach right opposite is great. the wifi is fine to be fair, maybe a bit shaky in the evening when all guests are using it. Out of the staff members, Alex (reception) is the best and the guys at the breakfast bar; but others are not committed to provide a good service to the guests (avoid the reception manager at all costs, she has some attitude issues, especially for this type of business). The worst part of being a city hotel is the location of the garage, which is nearby... but logistically, it's a nightmare.

Great Location. The local bus No 22 stops right outside the airport. 1.4 euros to the bus terminal at the end of the beach, 10 minute journey, every 20 minutes. Its then only a 5 minute walk along the beach to the hotel. Refurbished hotel with a good selection at breakfast. Swimming pool on roof with a bar that serves great food. The barman, Pepe was fantastic.

Just returned from a week long stay All inclusive. We came last year and this year brought more people, we were a group of 11 including 2 young children. I would say we had the same experience pretty much to the year before, I don't think the hotel has changed too much. Check-in was a bit all over the place, it seemed as they had selected who was staying in each room out of our group which made the process a little bit longer but it wasn't anything drastic. The rooms were great as always, no issues at all. The restaurant was clean, and great staff who would always interact with the young children. After the first day, they would always have a table ready to fit all 11 of us on and have a high chair near by. The pools were nice and warm and clean (we only used the kids pool and the warm one). We didn't ever find any issues with getting sunbeds, for 11 of us we'd usually get about 8 and manage to get them all together. We didn't tend to watch the entertainment so can't comment on that unfortunately. For some improvements: - As a fussy eater, I didn't find much food that I could eat, I do think the food wasn't as good as last year. The food was occasionally cold. Everyone else however tended to get a good plate each night, with their being less variety on certain occasions - Food wasn't always correctly labelled. I'm vegetarian and had a few occasions where food was labelled wrong and I almost ate meat. - One member of our group got ill off what we think could have been the chicken. - The lifeguard seemed to never be around. And when they were, it took other people coming over to tell him things that were happening before he acted on it. On one occasions a group of people were throwing stones into the pool and it took a guest to go and tell him before he went to stop it. - Females can wear open toed shoes at night but males can't. Saw many men get turned away at night for their footwear. It seems quite sexist. - The turtles! Please bring them back, our 4 year had been so excited about seeing turtles in the hotel and then was left disappointed. We did find out this was due to costs but it was one of our favourite aspects the year before.

GGuest UserWe spent 10 days there early in July and will be gong back. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. All the members of staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful, we didn't go to the nightly entertainment much but what we did see was well put together. The food was some of the best we have had in a multitude of 4 star hotels we have stayed in. Although we had no problems with sunbeds but there did seem to a shortage mid morning, it was good to see a member of hotel staff go around and clear long term but not used towels from beds. The location of the hotel was OK close to the beach and a few shops and supermarket.

GGuest UserJust returned from a memorable week in Lanzarote. Staying in these wonderful apartments. It was my husband’s 50th birthday and we had a week to remember. I couldn’t recommend Jable Bermudas apartments enough. The food, the amenities the overall experience was fantastic. We will definitely be back. The staff were friendly and the location was on point. We received an email just before we left to say there was work going on in the apartments and I can safely say you would barely know it was happening. Very thoughtful of your stay. 100% recommend. 🌞😎

Just returned from 11 nights here. I’d personally say the location of the hotel is great. It is around 15 minutes away from the airport, €15 euros in a taxi which we decided to get instead of waiting for a transfer. Turn right and about a 15 minute walk you’ll come to the beginning of the ***** with a lot of bars and restaurants. Turn left and around a 15-20 minute walk you’ll get to a few bars and restaurants, this area is a lot quieter and we personally enjoyed it here and it was a more relaxing setting. We also often got a taxi to the main part of puerto del carmen which would normally be a 30 minute walk, but 5 minutes in a taxi and around 5-6 euros which the reception staff would arrange for you and it would be outside in a few minutes. The hotel itself is immaculate and the rooms are cleaned daily. We were in the quiet part of the hotel and it was a nice walk from the reception area to our room each time. We originally had booked a standard room but they had upgraded us to a sea view on arrival. The rooms were clean and bright and the air-con worked perfectly. My only issue (not really an issue just more of a personal preference) is the bathroom towels are a brownish colour, I personally think towels and bedding in hotels should be white, however I do not doubt that they weren’t clean despite not being my preferred colour of white! It was my birthday whilst I was there and they’d left a card, bottle of sparkling wine and a toiletry bag in our room on the day which was a nice touch. We didn’t use the two main pools and stayed around the quiet pool which we enjoyed. The only downside I would say is the sun beds are very close together, if the people next to you have their umbrella up, you are shaded also. I understand there’s so many sun beds to accommodate for the large amount of guests but it would benefit from having a bit more room and a small table between sun beds to put drinks on instead of having to put them on the floor. The food overall was good, we used to main restaurant for breakfast and some evening meals and attended the Asian restaurant. There was a large selection of food at both times, and like all inclusive hotels can be repetitive if you’re there for longer than a week. The Asian restaurant was really nice but would benefit from a few more food choices as it has a relatively limited selection but there was something for everyone. We used the snack bar almost daily and this was just your standard burgers, hot dogs and chicken nuggets. This could be improved with some ice cream but if you did want ice cream on a lunch time the main restaurant had this. The lobby bar being 24hrs is a nice touch, if you fancied a drink after midnight it was nice to sit in a relaxing setting. There was also food available and you can ask for big bottles of water behind any of the bars. I used the gym a few times, which was clean and had a few pieces of equipment. It’s not like your local pure gym but there’s enough there to get a decent

GGuest UserI was made feel very welcome when I arrived at Pension Magec. The hospitality I received from the management and other guests was amazing. Its a very friendly place. The property is very clean and my room was cleaned everyday. The management are extremely helpful. The management will go out of their way ensure that guests needs are met all times. Carla is lovely as are everyone else works there including Sandi the manager The view from the top veranda is stunning. The guests can sit and have a drink and chat together on the veranda. As a solo traveller you would never be lonely and its very safe. Everyone talks to each other when up on the veranda. You are made feel welcome by both management and other guests at all times. There is always someone to talk to. I felt we were like a big happy family. There is free tea and coffee at the property. I would highly recommend Pension Magec as its very central. MMobile36521653348Im reluctant normally to give a hotel a 5/5 especially when the in room coffee is instant! Or where there are a few ******* that could be ironed out. However, 6 of us went here (aged 15-69 with a number of specific needs) on an AI package returning yesterday and we overwhelmingly agreed on 5/5. First off, the food is terrific. High quality, fresh and on daily rotation so the menu does not get boring. Service is exceptional in the restaurants from the earliest breakfast to the last knockings of dinner. Included drinks are of good quality - the local white and cava were firm favourites - and there was a civilised air about the place the entire time. No screaming chavs or families who saw every meal as an exercise in re-qualifying obesity. The entertainment each night was hit and miss. But if it's not your cup of tea, there is plenty on offer in the nearby ***** which is quite lively. Plenty of deckchairs and the pools are lovely. The staff work hard all day and were lovely to us all, especially my bro-in-law who has downs and can be quite challenging to understand sometimes. A shout out to Soren (bar manager) and his team. He ran a well oiled team under intense pressure and the girl who ran entertainment single handed! It was a joyous place to be. Very near airport without feeling as though it is on top of you so quick transfers. And great advice from the reception team when required. Of course, I'd swap out the paper cards for a wristband. The 10 euro deposit for towels seemed unnecessary, but hey ho. Plastic / Paper cups could be improved with robust plastic cups that can be re-used, and the daily cocktail available was not always something I wanted / liked. But these are true edge case issues. An exceptional stay. Thank you team

GGuest UserI would like there to be a rating between AVERAGE and VERY GOOD, and this hotel was above average, and below very good - there needs to be a GOOD rating- but this is trip advisors fault not the hotels! I stayed with a friend, in a junior suite 2-9th June 2023. Let’s start with the room. We arrived around midday and our room was ready – hurrah- super friendly, knowledgeable receptionist checked us in, gave us a load of info and a map and off we went! The excitement turned into a little bit of disappointment when we realised that instead of the 2 single beds pushed together, as depicted in every single solitary photo of a junior suite, it was one double bed – not ideal for friends holidaying together. The shower was VAST – very impressive but it was let down by the grout on the floor of the bathroom which was grubby and could do with replacing. The room itself was clean, big, and bed comfortable, with air con, tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Cleaned daily (except cups etc which were randomly not) – by exceptionally friendly cleaning staff. We had an issue with the bathroom on the first night, whereby we created a paddling pool in the shower room due to a blocked drain! -Quick trip to reception and super friendly Mr fix it man was with us in 5 minutes, fixing the issue, which never reoccurred. The restaurant had a fab selection of differing foods, always something to suit all tastes, and a chef always cooking you up something – eggs/omelettes/fresh fish/chicken etc. Mountains of fresh salad, fruit and bread – and snacks pretty much all day! Restaurant staff were all amazingly polite, friendly, and attentive. Bars were what you would expect of a 3*, local wine, spirits, premade cocktails, and once again amazingly polite, friendly, attentive staff. The pool was lovely and warm, with nice views looking down to the sea – never had an issue with getting a sunbed, but there is limited space around the pool area. I believe the other side of Flora is much quieter if you don’t like 4000 inflatables, and their young owner’s noise. The hotel is on a hill…… very pleasant stroll down, under 3 euro in a taxi back – not an issue at all. With a taxi rank just outside the hotel getting back to the airport was nice and easy to (approx. 20 euro). There was only one real thing that let this hotel down, the entertainment- whilst some of the live music acts were great the male half of the entertainment team (which consists of 2 people), really did not have his mind on the job at all. If you are going to work in entertainment you need to be enthusiastic 24/7, with both adults and kids, or they will lose interest fast. Which I witnessed on several occasions. Don’t put out water polo nets and walk away to chat to another member of staff, not even asking if anyone wants to play, don’t do 1 song at the mini disco, not engage the kids(more than once), and again walk away to chat to more staff members, don’t roll your eyes when someone asks you to repeat a qui

Mmartin mNot ine to normally complain but on arrival the receptionist wasn't very helpful and demanded a voucher that we did not have from jet 2 . He knew we was on the system and paid but still demanded this voucher . It tool 45 min to get this sorted and after all the confusion jet 2 spoke to him and he let us in. The room it self was nice but patio area needed washing down and no hose to do so . The apartment only ever got half cleaned and that was probably 3 to 4 times in 10 days only one bed ever got changed out four . There was bugs running around bathroom in the evening that I had to get rid of every night they come from under shower tray . Could only leave shower on low as water would just run all over the floor. No batteries in any of the controllers air con or tv.
