Bahia Blanca

I’d firstly like to say that I have never written a negative review for anyone and I’m really not the sort of person to complain but I honestly couldn’t not let people know about the downfall of this place…. Unfortunately we was extremely let down on this trip, we’ve stayed at BAHÍA Blanca a few times and have always loved it, however, this stay was far from relaxing for us… I am 8 months pregnant with a 15 month old baby which the hotel knew prior to our arrival. When we got there we was told that we had been put on the 2nd floor which was 1 lift and then up 5 flights of stairs, so you can imagine how difficult this was for me and my husband with a pram and luggage let alone being heavily pregnant. We then politely asked if we could be moved closer to the ground to which we was told by the rude woman that the elderly is prioritised and that they wouldn’t be able to move us because they were busy and to come back a few days later and ask again, we was pushed aside like we didn’t matter, we went back 2 days later to ask and the same woman looked at me like I was an inconvenience and said “well I never said you could”…, the attitude of the woman was disgusting so I just dropped it and had to deal with this the whole holiday. Now to cleaning… every hotel I have ever been to has maid service atleast every other day… well…. We got to day 5 and still hadn’t had anyone come in to give us new toilet rolls, towels make beds nothing! So I went to reception again and was greeted by the same snotty woman at reception who said “well obviously they don’t come in everyday”… we was there for 10 days all in all and cleaners came in once!!!! So disgusting! Lastly, The breakfast…. As I mentioned before I am pregnant and at breakfast one morning I was waiting for the staff to replenish some of the food that was missing, I sat down took a bite out of a sausage and it was completely raw! I went to a member of staff just to inform them and the woman completely blanked me asif I was invisible… I am honestly so disappointed and upset by our stay it completely ruined our babymoon, I have no idea what has happened there but it seriously needs looking into.

A nice resort, well placed and between Puerto Rico and Amadores beaches but a fair walk from both centres. Good bedroom, bathroom and terrace but the living room is small and 4 people will be in each other's way. We had to move the dining tale so we could use the kitchen. There is a good shop on site. My problem was that the practice of sun bed reserving was rife and although signs are everywhere not to reserve beds, the staff do nothing about it. By 10am 70% of the beds are reserved with hardly anyone in the pool area. I gave up using the pool, we used it twice and chose to stay in or terrace instead where no one could grab our sun beds. We ate in the restaurant only once, it was fine but not good enough to go back.

Have been here 3 times .. apartments are very modern .. great aircon .. views are amazing out to sea and is a 500 mtr walk going left or right to beaches and bars/restaurants ect.. staff friendly also the place is immaculate. Defo be back next time
