Everything was dirty when we got there, and the room full of mosquitoes. The door of the balcony doesn't close properly so there can come insects inside. There is an empty artificial lake with stagnant water. The main pool is correct. It's a pity because the place is beautiful, but it's not well maintained.

Room dirty, service from receptionist out. Food for breakfast limited. Service from manager also out. Totally dissatisfied.

Wifi is not available but also it does not getting reception (hotlink), so we were bit worried if we could not use internet during staying this island.(We could get the reception other hotel area on long beach. ) Not cleanened the bathroom especially bathtub side. Good thing is pool and the pool side area infront of beach. They provided beach towels.

The location is amazing but the hotel is horrible.the rooms are big but very old and outdated and smell very bad especially the bathroom sometimes no have water. There is no WIFI no TV.the breakfast is very poor and the restaurant is not clean.

It has the quality and service level of a cheap budget hotel. If that is your expectation then fine but do not expect anything more.

It is a bit pricy, reception are nice. To protect environment, it is best that hotel allow guest to bring theor own bottle and banned plastic bottle beverage.

Good vacation. But room hotel no wifi, no tv, no room phone. Communication breakdown. So sleep & go to the beach only..

I wouldn't expect facilities to be like in the city as it is a small island. I enjoyed my stay in Redang because of the island itself. But the only good thing about this hotel is the swimming pool with the view. I wouldn't mind the room as it is if I had paid lesser. For the amount we paid, the hotel can do much better. Or the price should be lesser as it is not worth the amount we paid. Room was spacious. Chose this hotel because they have a bathtub but it is under maintenance. Could have picked other cheaper hotels with no bathtubs. Bed is homestay standard, unlike usual hotels with comfy comforters. No phone to contact reception and no tv in the room. We are unsure if all hotels in Redang are like this so we were contented with what is available. But it definitely does not match with the price we paid. For $200 per night, this hotel is not worth the money. Price doesn't match the standard of the room. But, I can say the staffs tried their best with what they can offer. Good customer service.

We were given an upper unit despite our request to have a ground floor room due to our elderly parents. Somehow the hotel manage to fullfil our request. It was just that no staf was available to help them carry their bags to the new room. Overall the room facilities is mediocre. No telephone in the room makes it difficult to contact the front desk.

Location is pretty good , is in front of a clean and wide sea , others than this , all are worst .... 1. The air-conditioner is not working well , very warm in the afternoon ! it's not cool enough in the hot and cloudy day ....This is the second time i stayed in this resort , my last experience was the same , air conditioner is not working well , damn hot ! all children need to wear singlet to sleep otherwise can't fall to sleep . I pretty sure NO third time stay at here . 2. No towel provided , I have to walk to counter to ask for it , but the answer always delay and told us is high demand of towel , we need to wait ! 3. The intercom is out of service , everything we need we have to walk to the counter ... 4. TV can't watch unless we rent a USB driver for recoded program only , deposit RM 50 5. No cleaning service everyday unless WE ASK FOR IT 6. The toilet in restaurant really dirtyyyyy ..... NO MAINTENANCE AT ALL ... NO NEX TIME WITH SARI PACIFICA

Everyone, listen to my advice. This is a really disgusting resort. The food is even worse. The bed sheets are all bloodstained. The toilet is also black. There is garbage at the door of the room. Flies and mosquitoes are flying everywhere. There are all kinds of reptiles. This is the worst experience of the trip. There is no service at all.

Last minute plan to Redang, one family, 2 small children, all resorts are full. So this resort is empty. Our expectation at first was that this resort was very bad (as per the review), but throughout the 3 days and 2 nights, everything ran smoothly. The room is really big. Booking 1 queen bed room (cheapest), but got a room with 2 queen beds, ready with a balcony. Children are really fun. No housekeeper cleans the room every day, so keep it as clean as your own room. Mineral water, nescafe, tea, towels are provided for 3 days and 2 nights. This resort is indeed an old & classic 90's resort style, but I like this kind of design, using nostalgia. Breakfast is all ok, the important thing is to be full. In Pulau Redang, fried rice stalls are priced at RM20 per plate. So you have to appreciate the food and drinks here.. We took the breakfast package for 2 adults, but the in-charge for the kitchen gave us free breakfast for our children (6 years old & 3 years old) for 3 days and 2 nights even though we insisted on paying. Feeling overwhelmed by the service of the staff. The facility is beyond their jurisdiction, but their efforts to provide the best are greatly appreciated. This resort is suitable for families who want to create memories, 24 hours you can bathe by the beach, play with kites, play in the sand & spend time with your children, there are swings & relaxing places on the beach provided by the resort.. At the end of the resort there is a fire show around 8.30 pm. It is recommended to bring a torchlight @ headlamp to walk along the beach because it is quite dark even though there are many people.. The beach in the resort part is less rough because there are barriers on other islands,. it is safe for children, the view is also beautiful. If you want to create memories with your family, this is the place.. But if you want to have everything as complete as staying next to KLCC, there can be no shortage, Tar××s Beach Resort is the place.
