Puntarenas ist grundsätzlich nur bedingt eine Reise wert, so ist auch der Zustand des Hotel - der Lack ist ab, überall. Einzig der Pool war groß und sauber.
Die Matratze schlecht, die Ausstattung heruntergekommen. Es war die schlechteste Übernachtung unserer Reise.
Vermutlich nehmen Einheimische daran keinen Anstoss, sie sind froh über eine bezahlbare Unterkunft

My husband and I had a nice relaxing time, especially at the pool. The traditional breakfast was delicious and large portions. Hotel is dated but a decent place, the ****** is closed. Entire staff was welcoming and courteous, will stay there again if I go back to Puntarenas (el Puerto).

Nous sommes venus passer la nuit à Puntarenas afin de prendre le ferry pour Playa Naranjo. Il fallait dormir quelque part, et Yadran fut choisit. La chamble double est spacieuse. Elle semble ne pas avoir été renovée depuis les années 70: c'est kitch mais fonctionnel. Le point positif de l'hôtel est son parking gardé et la proximité du terminal de ferry.

Nous étions en avance puisque nous arrivons avec le bus. La chambre n'était prête qu'à 14h10. Il faisait super chaud .pas d'espaces pour attendre à part autour de la piscine . La vue de la chambre était magnifique sur l'océan . Chambre grande mais le minimum ... Une grande serviette par personne et pas de tapis de b'douche ou petit essuie main. Pas d'eau chaude ou café dans tout l'hôtel. Merci à la jeune femme du magasin qui nous a fait chauffer de l'eau pour le the' petit déjeuner : personnel très sympa mais nourriture banale .

Firstly, this is NOT a family hotel. We were shocked to see the condition of the room which is beyond description including AC not working, stained bed, extremely dirty and smelly bathrooms and most importantly NOT SAFE AT ALL.! The rooms did not have a proper lock. Most of the things mentioned on the hotel page are incorrect and false information. We had to just book something else in the last minute.

Hotel has seen better days.... Never knew what would be open, ****** closed except week-ends. Puntarenas has obviously seen better days. Walking around the town at night not safe, this place is pretty much visited by locals from San Jose that can't afford anywhere else.

El peor hotel para hospedarse en Puntarenas. Al igual que huéspedes anteriores, se nos indicó un monto menor al realizar la reservación por llamada. Al momento de realizar el check-in, se nos indica que el monto es de una diferencia de 32 dólares. Obviamente se les comenta que eso no fue lo acordado, por lo que se le pide a la gerente que solucione y la misma indica "Diay... no sé que hacer". ¿Siendo un "gerente competente" cómo no va a saber qué hacer y no solucionar? Además, las habitaciones no equivalen al precio que ellos venden. Por lo que vimos, esto no solo nos pasó a nosotros, sino también a otros huéspedes. ¡NO SE HOSPEDEN ACÁ, HUYAN! Jajaja Si tripadvisor alguna vez le da alguna buena promoción a este hotel, desconfiaré por completo.
