If you like a traditional style motel, this is the place. Pleasant owners, friendly maintenance man, very handicapped accessible, very clean, outdoor covered seating areas, good rates, right off I-75, easy ride to US 41, Aldi Supermarket, Wal Mart, Waffle House, McDonald's, gas and Culver's nearby.

We had the misfortune of booking here when our flight was cancelled. Rooms reeked of smoke; bathtubs moldy; pool not open. We left immediately because of allergic reactions but hotel refused refund. Do not stay here.

I am traveling to Miami from SF and stopped by Punta Gorda for the night. Had the best time here from beginning to end. The front desk woman was very friendly and accommodating - she made the check in process go so smoothly. Also the property is decorated beautifully!

Didn’t provide accessible room as reserved. Instead put me in room with a step in and a tub shower with no grab bars. Very disappointed!!

Musty smell in room. Door to room enterance needed washed something spilled on it. Fan in bathroom real loud. Sidewalk along the room entrances need washed. Dirt and things spilled. No continental breakfast. Using COVID 19 as a reason. These items are wrapped and sealed. We have stayed here for the last 5 years. Going down hill.

Clean and basic room but a little dated. My only complaint, they reclaimed my room without me checking out.
I was out before sunrise photographing wildlife. I drove 45 minutes back to shower prior to checking out only to find that cleaning crew had already stripped my room and started cleaning it an hour before check out!
