My friends and I didn’t stay at the hotel, but we took lunch at the restaurant, and it was fantastic. We tried a few dishes not on the regular tourist menu, and they were all great. The kazu (cashew) curry was unique and delicious, and the biryani that came in a ceramic jug (I forget the name) was so good! We also added an order of the palak paneer to the meal, and I think this may be the best palak paneer that I’ve had on this trip to India yet, and maybe this was the best biryani I’ve ever had. I don’t know why the spicing was so tasty, but we ate until we hurt. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, the prices were reasonable, and given that we visited Pushkar in the summer, the A/C and fans were comforting. If you’re looking for a lunch or dinner in Pushkar, check this out.
