This hotel has a great location almost next to Qingdao station and easy walking distance to the pier and other sites. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was tired but comfortable. Breakfast was fairly typical Chinese style but good enough to set you up for the day. Went in the May Day holiday so was quite pricey. Probably much more reasonable outside of peak times. Would definitely consider staying again.

I stayed here 5 years ago and it is just as good now as it was then. The decoration of the rooms is simple, but clean and with a cool vibe. The rest of the hotel has great character, with sitting areas at the end of each floor. The lounge and restaurant is huge and inviting. All the staff are very polite and friendly. Of course, the breakfast is fantastic with several choices of freshly prepared meals (American, British, omelette, or French toast). The hotel is well located close to most of the sites tourists would want to see and also convenient to a subway station. I don’t often write reviews but this is the type of place that feels special and becomes a positive part of your trip.

The hotel is very good, with convenient transportation. It is convenient to go to various scenic spots. I especially go to the trestle to feed the seagulls. I walk there every morning to feed the seagulls! The lady at the front desk was very nice. She upgraded our room for free because we had children. She also gave us a toiletry gift bag and a small conch for the children. There are fruits, milk, specialties and handwritten letters every day.
