There were no slippers and the sheets and quilts were dusty and choking! It's really not worth more than three hundred yuan.

staff very nice and helpful but loud radio while they work in the kitchen. Avoid the rooms that are in the patio by the kitchen, super loud in the morning. Very good price value ratio

Excellent value for money, definitely something to improve but overall recommended if you don't have big expectations. The girls at the reception are very kind and available to help at any time and for any need, very useful when you need to get around a chaotic city like Quito. The room was average, very comfortable beds and adequate dimensions. Cleanliness needs to be improved and towels should certainly be provided (we had to ask for them and ask for them to be changed the next day) and certainly a hairdryer should be made available. Basic breakfast: coffee, tea, bread and eggs provided, the rest must be purchased yourself. There is the possibility of using the kitchen, very convenient but the cleanliness needs to be improved a little. Overall, for the price paid the accommodation is excellent and I would recommend it.

A nice hostal in Quito Mariscal. Area felt safe, there was a lot of restaurants, bars and nightclubs just a few blocks from the hostal. The room was clean, but a little cold. There was simple breakfast included.

I’ve always enjoyed staying at El Arupo. They have the best staff who is very accommodating. The location has always been great with walking ability to the town center. Unfortunately, Covid has been really hard on those businesses. I hope to see them revitalized, it was a hopping place. I’d still go to El Arupo.
