We, a group of 8 seniors spent an amazing week at the Iberostar Coral Holguin. The rooms are large clean and extremely comfortable. All with terraces or balconies facing the pool. Exactly as pictured on travel sites. The pool is huge so there's lots of room for any activity. Pool side activities were a blast from morning stretching, water aerobics, vollyball to Carlos singing and playing the guitar. The surrounding area has 2 hot tubs, lounges, tables and chairs for board games and is quiet enough to sit and read a book. I spent no time at the beach so I have no opinion. Make sure to join in for the Treasure Hunt! The food, as usual the shortages in Cuba are apparent. Although there was a shortage of fruits and vegetables. What was available was fresh and/or prepared deliciously. There was tons fish, beef, pork and chicken. The recipes they use gave us different dishes evey day. 30+ trips to Cuba and I have never had such tender beef, it was a treat! The service here completely blew us away. EVERY want and/or need was fulfilled quickly and happily by each staff member. From the department Managers to the butler service, the bartenders, the maid service, the poolside bar service, the bellboy/cart driver service, the chefs and servers in all the restaurants, the gardeners, the maintenance team and the lifeguards. The staff is so kind and courteous and they all work so hard. It was these people that made our vacation a dream come true. Special thanks to Adrian, Niege, Mara, Carlos, Junior, Laritza, Ronoldof, Rodolfo (unsure if I'm right, bellboy/cart drivers) and Frank the lifeguard, such a nice young man. We will be back soon!

I don't know where to start! This was the ABSOLUTE BEST resort that we have ever been to in Cuba (and we have been to 20+ resorts over the years!) We loved the small size (60 rooms) and that it is adults only... this is what drew us but honestly I think this place has ruined us for going any where else! everything will now be compared to this vacation and I'm afraid nothing will compare! The food was FANTASTIC ... people worry about Cuba for the food but in 2 weeks I gained 9 pounds!!! everything was so delicious and there was a great variety of offerings. We LOVED the pool, so large and clean! We did go to the beach for the resort (small and a bit far) and also went across the bridge to the larger beach (nice but not the best, there is much nicer) HOWEVER we are pool people so that wasn't any worry for us! The room was very clean (never had housekeeping do such a great job!) also the bed was very comfortable, even the pillows were comfortable as well :) We had 2 bottles of water delivered each day and a lovely turndown service while we were at dinner when they gave us new beach towels and bath towels. We had a Butler to help us make reservations at the a la carte restaurants and who kept checking on us throughout our stay to see if there was anything he could do for us! The STAFF are SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL... special shouts out to: Carlos (Activity Coordinator), Yarian (our Butler), Alex & Diana (Pool Bartenders), and Yordi, Daianelis, Lilian & Yolannys (Coral Restaurant Servers).

Très bel hôtel, propre, belle chambre confortable, belle piscine, personnel très attentionné. Merci à Laritza, notre majordome 🥰. Pour la nourriture c’était bien malgré que c’était répétitif; pas très varié en fruits. Le resto du Coral est le meilleur de tout le site. Pour ceux qui ont mangé de la langouste à tous les jours, selon les commentaires de août/septembre, hé bien il n’y en a plus à l’hôtel. Nous sommes allés en manger dans un resto à l’extérieur et c’était très bon (La fonda de vita). Au Coral c’est plus tranquille sauf l’après-midi à la piscine avec l’animateur Carlos! Cous d’aquagym et danse! Il est vraiment fantastique 🥰.

Staff at this resort are simply amazing. Rooms are very clean. Food was excellent. I will definitely go back again. Carlos is the best! Karaoke was so much fun! They truly make you feel like family here. The beach was so amazing and the snorkelling was unreal. I recommend both Coral and Selection side I have been to both and loved them both.

It's our second time here and once again we have had another phenomenal experience. The staff in this resort is the nicest and the most friendly that we have ever met . The entertaiment here is wonderful, there are many entertaiment activities to do ,you will never be bored . The drinks in the bars are very good too and they always serve it to you with a big smile. Special thanks to Osmel , Dayana , Gyo ,William ,Yander ,Hector ,Alex and Carlos, all of them have done a fantastic job , thanks a lot again ❤️

We are visiting this wonderful place for the fifth time. And once again we are having a very good holiday. The hotel is always very clean, the food is very delicious, the entertainment is always very good, despite the rainy days there is always something to do. We would like to mention Carlos, Dayana, Jordi, Gio and William for their excellent work.

This is my second time coming on vacation to the Iberostar Coral Holguin and it's was even better than the first time. All the staff is amazing. And a special mention to the Coral entertainer Carlos who is always there to make sure we have a good time! Junior and Laritza are great concierges! Dayana, Alexander and Marcos are the best bartenders! The pool is beautiful, the rooms are clean and mordern, we had a reallying good selection of drinks and the food is good. But the highlight is most definitely the staff. I recommend the Coral to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. (And if you want to party some nights you can always walk up to the selection part of the resort).

Went to Iberostar Coral in March. Steve and Joanne, Kitty and Glen, we have been looking for a vacation place that we want to return, this was the #1!!! We have booked our trip for April 4/2025. We want the same as last year. Our butlers, Junior Lopez and Laritza, same rooms, Joanne & Steve room 17102 king bed, Kitty & Glen room 17103 double beds. Have to say everything was fantastic, and if there was a problem, our Butlers took care of it. The food was great considering the problems they have getting food.
