The hotel is approximately 150 years old heritage property. It has beautiful rooms, coffee shop, lounge, dinner area, badminton court and ample outside place to sit. The staff members are locals from ranikhet and will make you feel welcomed and homely. This was my solo trip and i felt really comfortable and safe staying here.

Very peaceful place. All the amenities are well, wifi available dining hall was very nice with very good serving with delicious food as you want they will ask before making food. Surrounding views are very good also.

Spent 4 nights in June with family, the hotel is spread over a decent area and have multiple room options. First the downsides - 1. Pests is a big no for any hotel - 3 rd night found cockroach in the bed while sleeping . Next morning another one in my wife’s hair. 3rd one in a glass of Coke which was kept on the table for not more than 20 secs. 2. Spiders had a free run as the cockroaches. Greeting every now and then. And mind you this was not rainy season. Have stayed in and around Almora , Ranikhet, Bhimtal, Nanital over a period of 20 years but have never seen such infestation. 3. The furniture is rickety. I get it if you want to keep the old charm ( I personally love it ) but having to sit on a chair where the spring hurts you so bad that you are ready to bounce off. Add to that Ton loads of dust in the outside furniture. 4. Linen was dirty and old. Now the upsides :- 1. Room sizes are great as are the sit outs. 2. Service is extremely pleasing and efficient. Guys are doing a great job in keeping the guest comfortable. Kudos 3. Location is good if you like it calm. Overall would have loved to visit again but we dare not . Very unfortunate but true

Location: Peaceful Service: Efficient & Caring Atmosphere: Relaxed Experience: Wonderful We have been visiting & staying at this beautiful property since 1959! It is our home, away from home. And for this we thank the owners and the staff, for their professional and caring attention to ensure our stay is always excellent

Stay was awesome, food was too good and very high quality - beyond that what was catch the staff ( kitchen / room / waiters) was too courteous and ready to help all the times. A Resort with open area nice rooms and with quiet space!! Loved the stay
