The location is good, the accommodation is average and dark, and there is a height difference in the aisles. Be careful when carrying heavy luggage. Fortunately, the staff are helpful when checking in, but you have to rely on yourself when leaving.

Really loved everything about this hotel - from my stay to the food and it’s location close to the city centre. Will definitely choose to stay here every time I visit Reading! Staff is really friendly and helpful as well - they knock on the door every morning the room!

The hotel is near good establishments esp the Univ of Reading. It is just by the roadside and parking spaces are available.
The noise was quite disturbing because our room was near to a partition door.
Breakfast was decent.

Stayed here during reading festival. Staff are really friendly and helpful but the hotel is dirty. There is mould and damp everywhere and there were fleas in our room. A shame but doable for one night - much needed upgrade and TLC needed. Reviews are true...
