Recently stayed at the New House Hotel for business purposes. A very peaceful and tranquil location in a picturesque position. Staff were very friendly from the start and there was nothing I could find fault with from the hotel room, the food and the extremely first class service from the staff!

We had an excellent stay at the New House, members of our group had food allergies, these were dealt with professionally and we had really positive experience and delicious food. The location is spectacular and the hotel is clean and well manage. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic, This hotel is lovely, we were there for my Grand/daughter's wedding, saying that the wedding would have been wonderful in a wooded shed, but this hotel had something about it, beautiful rooms, excellent food but the one thing that made this hotel better than others I have stayed in was the STAFF. In big hotels there is always someone, a member of staff that you can see is not really happy with the job, not hear, the staff made this hotel. This hotel is the staff. If you have the privilege of staying here take a short walk to the right of the hotel and walk up hill to the tallest tree [maybe in Britain] and touch the bark. Just a little tip to make the hotel better, get a plate warmer. Thank you from Wigan.

Had the most fabulous 2 night stay at the New House Country Hotel, Pet Friendly room was absolutely amazing 🥰🐾❤️ impeccable service and the most fantastic day for Chloe & Steele’s wedding 👰🤵♂️🥂🍾 Highly recommend as a venue for whatever the occasion. This painting was also in our room lol it’s as if they knew we were coming 😁🥰🐾❤️

Fabulous location - in it's own little world. Lovely hotel. Great room. Comfy bed. Proper blackout curtains. Very good customer service. Go for the smoked salmon starter at dinner. It's off the charts. Breakfast is also really good (great sausages!). Take a walk up to the benches above the car park - it's magical up there. Our first trip. Definitely returning.

So my second stay at this outstanding hotel. The first time a solo visit, the second with my partner. On the first visit, the room was delightful, the service excellent, but it was a business trip, so little time to appreciate quite how good is this hotel! So my second trip, upgraded my room. Private balcony, just a winner! Snuggled under a blanked underneath the stars, with a perfect large G&T from the bar. (Please, managers, reward your bar staff well, they are all excellent ambassadors for your hotel!) Our evening following a theatre trip to Cardiff was complete! Four poster bed 🪄 Staff service 🪄🪄 Sadly work meant we had to leave too early for breakfast. So my dream! Three nights with you. A chance both to explore the locality, but also to revel in the best that this hotel has to offer! You won’t be disappointed! Tim
