This place is absolutely not worth staying at. From the moment I checked in, I witnessed an employee arguing with a guest who simply asked for a replacement towel because hers was stained with blood. Instead of handling it politely, the employee shouted, claiming all the towels were washed at high temperatures. I was shocked by this behavior, and things only got worse as I observed more instances of similar treatment. It feels like the place is run with the rigidity of a dictatorship, with no common sense or customer service. I chose this hotel because it was the cheapest option with a pool, but I regret not reading the reviews beforehand. Had I done so, I would have definitely booked somewhere else.

Another lovely stay at Summerland, the staff here work extremely hard and long hours, nothing is to much trouble for any of them, rooms cleaned and towels changed every 2 day's,plenty of sunbeds by the pool, its definitely a place if you need to chill and recharge your body,no entertainment or tv's,my kind of heaven, would definitely recommend Summerland to anyone that just wants to chill, easy access to main road, plenty to see and do within easy reach ,if you like walking.

We have just come back from a nine night stay here. This hotel is clean, the rooms (breakfast only) had two single beds, small fridge to put water ,milk etc in. Shower room, fair size wardrobes with loads of coat hangers. My bed was fine but my partner said her bed was a little uncomfy. Thr fridge is on the noisy side tbh. Ear plugs needed if your a light sleeper. I pulled the fridge out to unplug it on the first night but the wire went through the wall, no socket!! Room was clean and towels and bedsheets and bins emptied every two days👍 Bring a travel kettle if you want a cuppa unless your self catering. In all room was fine. The continental breakfast was a cold buffet. Nice enough but a bit mundane but there is places by that you can get a hot cooked breakfast. English Tea,coffee, orange juice, toast, two types of meat, cheese. Tomatoes, cumcumber, cearels. The pool and pool area was great. Again pool clean and pool area clean. Around 30 sunloungers and the pool area gets the sun all day in September. Reception area and bar area also clean.fruit machine, pinball machine €1. Air hockey only €1...table tennis outside near the pool. The bar prices are a little expensive for the small local beer in a can!. However the bottled water was cheap. Now Last but not least the staff. The most pleasant friendly people we have met at an hotel for years. Ignore past reviews about the staff, We couldn't fault them.Anthony the bar man should have his own tv show, a very charismatic and funny and friendly man. He works very hard. The other two ladies also very friendly and approachable. Mina was one but unsure of the name of the other lady. Not to leave out the lady at breakfast, very nice and friendly. This hotel is for Adults only. Some people have been returning here every year for years, that says something. In all a nice enjoyable stay and nice hotel.. clean ,nice pool and the staff are great Anthony get yourself on TV!

I would've given Summer land 5 stars but they lost half a star for no WiFi in our room and another half a star for a not so comfy bed. Yes the rooms are basic and a bit dated but ours was clean and did the job. A toaster and a microwave would've made the kitchenette a bit more workable but we managed. There was only 1 plug socket in the room so bring an extension lead! Everything else was fantastic. The grounds are well maintained with lovely colourful plants, foliage and so many orange trees. The swimming pool is big, clean and inviting on those hot days. The bar/reception area is large with plenty of choice of food and drinks. Not forgetting how friendly, helpful and accommodating the staff were. They were always around, nothing was too much trouble and they were extremely helpful. There were plenty of parking spaces for rental cars. We would definitely stay again if visiting the north side of Rhodes.

I just like to say I’ve been to many places in my world, but this has got to be one of the worst places I have been to when I was getting my breakfast. I’ve got some old hag trying to clean up as I was getting my breakfast, but honestly, I’ve never experienced anything like this before in my life. The attitude of the staff was unreal. I could not believe it.

I'd like to warn you about the staff at this hotel. There's an older woman who regularly smokes cigarettes in the main lobby on the ground floor. She is a cleaner who rummages through and touches personal belongings in your room. Upon our arrival, this person immediately stole our portable gas camping stove, which was intended for cooking outside the hotel. Be cautious of her, and I recommend locking your belongings in your suitcase. You are also not allowed to use your own fan in the hotel. A fee will be charged for using your personal fan. Air conditioning is charged at €7 per day. I am also attaching the hotel rules, which do not mention any prohibition on using a gas stove.

A nice, quiet and clean hotel with a lovely swimmingpool. ( I just wish the pool could be open a wee bit longer.) Nice staff! Lovely surroundings, beautiful garden! A nice walk from Ialysos main street and the beach. Big supermarked down the road and to the left where you can get everything you need for self catering. Would I go again? Absolutely! I slept and recharged so good.
