I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like this review is needed. we went on a family holiday here couple weeks ago, reading the reviews we was so very nervous we booked the wrong hotel. But we was splendidly surprised! yes the hotel is a bit run down could do with some modern re-vamp. The time of year we went we didn't realise the evening entertainment had finished so this was down hearting. But the rooms were cleaned and stocked towels every day. staff was so friendly and welcoming. All the kids loved the hotel the different pools to pick from was perfect for the age differences we had with us. I have to put a massive comment on the manager of the restaurant was 1010 my daughter has several allergies (epi-pen) and sensory when it comes to food. She had the princess treatment. Every day made up fresh chicken (only thing she would eat) bring to her table and cut it for her. if we we went out of the hotel, he would make her up sandwiches to leave with. He was a complete star and being a mum I was so petrified taking a young child abroad with such high allergies and sensory. She absolutely adored him and couldn't wait to see him every day. Overall had the most lovely experience and turned out to be a really good holiday. Greece is beautful!

Absolutely awful. I have seen better hostels and kennels. No way this was a 4 star. Contacted TUI after 10 minutes of arrival to get us moved. Luckily we were moved the following day. The TUI rep told us the hotel was on their “critical” list. So why are they still selling holidays there? It cost us more to stay in this dump than it would have at the hotel we were moved to for the week. Towels were grubby, bed was dreadful, I’ve seen thicker sliced bread than the mattress and pillows. Asked for milk to make a drink to be told I have to wait for restaurant to open to get it. Staff miserable but not surprised having to work there. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place not even to my worst enemy.

Currently on day 5 staying here. We don’t expect much, just a clean room and a base to sleep in. Day 5 our room has not been cleaned once. I complained to reception TWICE to a guy who shrugged his shoulders and said “not my Problem”. I asked him to call housekeeping and request that our room was cleaned and beds made. They did on day 5 come into my room, hung up the soaking wet towels because the shower leaks all over the floor and we have to mop it up with towels. You think they’d replace the towels for fresh dry one right? But nope we have all soaking wet dirty towels to use after our shower tonight 😬. Don’t even get me started on what they constitute a made bed…see the photo enough said. Food - is pleasant and you can always find something. The waiting staff are friendly although do make you feel a little rushed in their eagerness to clear your plates away. All inclusive is limited to a small (4) options of soft drink which is self serve and wine and 1 type of beer again self serve. Ice cream is only available from 2-6. There is a poolside snack bar throughout the day serving burgers and chips but cant comment on taste as we didn’t try it. Entertainment- didn’t use it as like I said at beginning we just used hotel as a base. Would I come here again? A great big No purely on the lack of cleanliness and the attitude of the reception when you try nicely to report an issue. I work in heslthcare and imagine a patient came to me either s problem and I said to them “what can I do this is not my problem” 🤔

I can see why there are some complaints but I don’t agree with all of them. I found the room adequate to our needs, the food mostly good and the location was as described when I booked (TUI). I asked for a high and quiet room, which I got. Yes it did look over the service area but if you look straight ahead it was lovely countryside. (Who looks down on a high balcony without vertigo 😂) No kettle but asked at reception and got one straight away. Cleaners are a bit rubbish. I do know that if you put towels on shower floor they will replace but apart from emptying bins ( no toilet paper or anything else down toilet) they didn’t do anything else. Wasn’t a big problem for us, just a couple who ain’t very messy. The food was pretty good in my opinion. I am an adventurous eater and will try anything. I did struggle a little at breakfast but still left the table full. Greek yogurt, honey and fruit was a fav and their version of a cooked breakfast was adequate. Only thing that I didn’t touch after day1 was the hard boiled eggs. They were runny 😂. Lots of Greek options to eat. For beige eaters- nugget and chips people, you will struggle. Location is away from eucalyptus av and all the shops and beach but I loved our walks to and from the hotel through the olive groves. Kolympia does have its rubbish problem, which is a massive shame and it’s not a big massive busy area but I personally looked past its negatives and found a lovely place and had a great holiday. Please don’t be put off. Oh and the sea and location are great. Warm and plenty of good snorkelling by the rocky areas!

Well i just got back after a 10 day holiday very disappointed, this could be such a nice hotel ,they have 4 pools scatterd which is great.the cleaning of our rooms was awfull they just emptied bins and pulled up the bed ,we constantly had to ask for toilet rolls, towels,beds not changed untill the 7th day and that was only because i stripped them myself then asked the cleaner to put fresh sheets on the food was dripping in oil upsetting our stomaches and so forcing us to pay to eat out even though we paid for all inclusive,we found the staff very rude and not friendly at all even in the shop such a shame could be so much better .we were a family of seven and will definatley not stay here again & definatley only a 2 star hotel

Great hotel for the price. Not 5 Star but you’re not paying 5 start prices. Food well cooked and a good choice at all meals, like all buffet meals some could be hotter but all eatable. Our room was basic but spacious, comfortable and near to all amenities which is what we asked for. With 3 pools none are too crowded but you do have to be early if you want a sunbed with some shade. The entertainment is ok but not great. Bingo costs either €5 or €10 euros but not money prizes just merchandise, Champagne or Spa treatments. All staff are friendly and helpful especially the two guys on reception and the two maître d’s in the restaurant. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning.

Ik deel niet vaak een recensie maar deze keer doe ik het omdat ik anderen wil waarschuwen. Ik heb er net een week opzitten in het golden odysee en wat heb ik er spijt van! Rhodos is prachtig, het hotel is vreselijk. - Het personeel werkt met veel tegenzin. De animatie zorgt absoluut niet voor animatie, lijken niet gemotiveerd en doen amper moeite. Het personeel aan de inkom doet amper de moeite om de klanten te helpen. Bij vraag naar excursies deden ze met een zucht de kast met folders open en als je hen aansprezkt over de klachten en ervaringen, trekken ze gewoon hun schouders op en kijken ze verder filmpjes op hun gsm. - Het eten is niet te eten. Van de 7 dagen zijn wij 4 dagen buiten het hotel gaan eten en hebben we 1 maal eten besteld. Zwanworstjes die grijs zien ipv roze. Aardappelpuree dat gemaakt is van poederzakjes drijvend in het vet, etc. - de kamer is in de 7 dagen NIET gekuist. Had een spin doodgeklopt en de mieren hebben er op onze laatste avond voor gezorgd dat de spin weg was. De lakens zijn 1 maal vervangen en dan kregen we een 1-persoonslaken voor een 2-persoonsbed. - de infrastructuur laat eveneens de wensen over. De deur gaat niet in het slot en klettert met de minste windstoot. De douche loopt niet door waardoor de hele badkamee onder water komt te staan. De matrassen zijn net planken waar je op slaapt. Dan nog maar te zwijgen over de vele bevuilde en kapotte zwembadstoelen en terrasstoelen. De all-inclusive cocktails worden geschonken in kleine plastieke bekertjes zonder alcohol. We wouden heel graag volgend jaar terugkomen met onze kindjes maar gaan dit heel bewust niet doen. We zullen het houden bij het geweldige hotel van vorig jaar. Want dit doen wij onze kindjes niet aan! Heel jammer want her biedt wel mogelijkheden. Als je een manager zou plaatsen die zou denken als een klant en wat personeel die WEL wil werken, denk ik dat er al heel veel kan verbeteren!

Recently come back from a week all-inclusive at this hotel in september, and all I can say it's very basic. The staff are friendly but other than that I would not return. If your looking for a basic holiday then maybe this is for you but the cleaners only came X2 and only changed towels. The food had not much to choose from it was mainly chicken or pork. They don't really have any entertainment on an evening, apart from quiz and children's songs. Just slightly disappointed as the reviews where mixed. Spirits are not available until 5. The pool snack bar was nice though.

The dirtiest Hotel I've ever stayed in it'd depressing and run down I would rather of stayed in pontins and that's bad enough dirty bed sheets mice droppings all over horrible smell of drians dirty pool I could go on and on I couldn't stay there so moved to a different hotel
