Atrium Palace Thalasso Spa Resort and Villas

We spent 10 nights here on our honeymoon and just had the best time! We cannot fault the place. We went full board and the food was fantastic, especially as it included an a la carte menu to choose from everyday as well as the buffet. Davida and Natalia were always there to greet us every day. A special mention to Sotiris who was so lovely and made us feel so welcome. All the other staff in the restaurant, pool and and bar were great. The pool area was where we spent most our time and it was gorgeous. My husband enjoyed playing darts and table tennis everyday. The beach was also stunning with crystal clear water. Asterias restaurant is defo worth a visit. We would love to come back here one day when we have children. ❤️

We had a fun 4 days at the Atrium. Were upgraded to a lovely suite which had two bedrooms, perfect for the kids. Beds super comfy. Free, very well stocked mini bar if you’re on the AI package which we were. Hotel location is superb. The beach is absolutely gorgeous with helpful beach attendants and feels idyllically quiet. Some useful shops and great tavernas right outside hotel entrance. And you’re only 10 mins in a cab from Lindos which is a beautiful little town. Great for an evening out or a boat tour during the day. The hotel is good, some bits more than others. Beach and pools lovely. Pools cold but I guess that’s the time of year. A la carte restaurants are excellent, particularly Zen and Asturias where the food is outstanding. All included in the AI package. Kids enjoyed the ping pong and there are arcade machines downstairs which looked good. Spa was lovely and we had great massages. The not so good? I did think there could be a bit more for kids. Our 14 and 11 year old had a great time - partly because we went out a lot - but given how much space they have why not have a football pitch or something? Evening entertainment wasn’t as good as you’d expect in a hotel like this. A bit 3* Mallorca but ok. Buffet breakfast was average. One of the odd things about the AI which is meant to be ‘super AI’ is that the bars and restaurant close very strictly meaning that if you want a snack at, say, 430, it’s impossible. My wife tried to get a drink at the pool back one minute after they shut (I think at 530) and was told she needed to go all the way up to the main bar. Just weird. And most of the bartenders by the pool were efficient but pretty unfriendly. Big contrast to the lovely ladies on reception and at breakfast. Overall this is a very good, brilliantly located hotel but we were glad we’d spent 4 nights in Rhodes Town first as this isn’t quite the destination luxury hotel you’d like to stay in for a week.

We had an incredibly relaxing 11 days in this beautiful hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and the food and facilities are excellent. All of the staff made us feel like family, but a special mention has to go to Natalia and Davida at breakfast who gave us a warm welcome every single morning, and to Lucas who greeted us like lifelong friends at the beach. The staff really make this place - you really could not ask for better.
