I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the friendly staff. We were even able to check into our room earlier than expected, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience!

The new reception structure, but don't mislead it, the rest of the hotel is very old. I've been one of the oldest hotels I've ever stayed! I admit I've been even disgusted by the cover because I've been very old and the room environment! The hotel was very large and had a freezer (the only advantages I saw in the hotel), lifts were too long to arrive, few people were old and they were very old. The breakfast was satisfactory, with fruit, cake, bread, cold, eggs, sauce and yoghurt, besides drinks, but nothing but the common. The location is OK, because it is near the main street of Lapa, but it can become quite dangerous if the Lapa is not moved. In general, I don't recommend, it is only worth staying a day alone and if you don't have money to invest in something better.

I was hosted in this hotel last weekend - 02 to 03/07/2022. I have contacted me, and Mrs Vanessa has answered me, she kept the forgotten pieces, and the next day she sent me for Sedex with great delight and sympathy, and I would like to congratulate her on the sensitivity and empathy shown by that person. All the staff very careful and efficient.

Nice hotel where the room I stayed in was a reasonable size where I consider it positive, the bathroom clean, good towels and with excellent shower, freezing and quiet air, closet with hangers and plenty of space to store belongings and as non-positive points, two beds together instead of the Queen offered and a lot of noise in the bathroom exhaust with the ceiling lamp flashing with faults. Breakfast well served with scrambled eggs, juices, cakes, assorted breads, cold cuts, cereals among others, I missed a plate type appliance to warm up the breads or make a hot joint, but on average, very good breakfast. Paid parking and having difficulty accessing the vehicle to pick up or leave belongings, because as the key stays with them, every time we need it, we have to call the person in charge. Reception very hot, impossible to sit waiting for taxi or during check in or check out. On average I recommend the hotel, do not expect general comfort and quality, but in cost benefit, it is even better than many equivalents.

I only have positive words for the stay at Novotel Leme. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice, the service is great, breakfast is delicious, versatile and extensive, the rooftop bar Sky Leme is a very nice place with a magnificent view and a nice pool. My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 10 days for our honeymoon after receiving a recommendation from a friend. When we first arrived we were disappointed because the room had not been cleaned adequately (dirty carpet, stains and dead bugs in the bathroom) and despite informing the hotel we were coming for our honeymoon we didn’t receive any special welcome, for example a note or message from the hotel or chocolate gift as we saw others receive on Instagram. We complained to the reception about the cleanliness and the next morning the room was cleaned to our expectations, we were happy with how the complaint was handled. The hotel room we were given was an ocean view on the 10th floor. The view was amazing and we loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. However we feel that for the price and star rating of the hotel, the rooms need to be refurbished, the room feels dated and the bathroom finishings are not befitting of the hotel we expected from the pictures; messy paintwork and grouting, broken wooden furniture, poor quality shower and at one point there was no hot water so our first night was cold showers. We have stayed in lower and similarly priced and rated hotels and the quality of the room and bathrooms were better than this hotel. We used the tennis courts and gym during our stay which was a nice option. We both had the tropical Spa experience which was a wonderful and relaxing experience and the Spa staff were great. We chose the all inclusive option at the hotel and we were not disappointed with the selections available and the high quality of food on offer from the restaurants. The service from the staff at the restaurants was wonderful. The location of the hotel is excellent, after exploring the area we determined it has the best location of all the hotels in Ipanema / Leblon / Copacabana, because of the direct beach access to a “private” beach. Halfway through the stay we received a note in our room to say there was a problem with the pre payment and amount of consumption. We were very surprised because we had the all inclusive option and had not taken anything not included. We called the reception to inquire about the problem and the person was not able to explain what was the problem. (My wife is Brazilian so language was not the problem). We had to go down to the reception to speak with someone else, where we were told that the pre payment taken by the hotel was not enough to cover the cost of our stay (10 days) and so an additional payment was needed. The hotel knew we were staying for 10 days and should have known the total cost of our stay (excluding extras not included Ina lol inclusive), and taken the payment up front, rather than send us an ambiguously and informally written letter, halfway through the stay which the staff could not explain on the Phone. I stayed here where my flight from Lisbon to Belo Horizonte was diverted to Rio de Janeiro due to the airport being closed due to the bad weather. So it was the airline TAP Portugal which arranged (and paid for) my stay here. And I really enjoyed it. The reception staff was really friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room had a nice view of mainly the hotel in front but also of the beach. It was clean, the beds were comfortable so just 10/10

A localização é ótima. O hotel possui uma boa estrutura porém observa-se que a manutenção não está em dia. O atendimento da recepção já foi melhor. Acredito que excepcionalmente no sábado houve uma falha. Porém nada que torne a experiência ruim. O hotel continua sendo uma excelente pedida. Mas, devem se atentar nos detalhes que sempre ganham o cliente.
