Ace Hotel and Swim Club Palm Springs

I am taking the time to write this review because we were hesitant about our stay given the negative ones below. We had THE BEST time at the Ace. The mid-week vibes were great, super low key guests. Great pool time. What stood out was the food. We ate breakfast and lunch every day and loved everything we had. I can't recommend the Ace enough and I can't wait to come back next winter.

Palm Springs hotels are lower in price. Palm Springs hotels are basically in the form of hotels because they are closer to Los Angeles and the housing prices are generally very high. Especially on weekends, they are basically 1000+. This hotel can park for free. As our transit station to Redeem Mountain and Ole is good, we just sleep a bit, the rooms are average and the health is average. If you rest overnight instead of coming to vacation, this hotel is OK of

This was my third time staying at this property. The ground was spectacular especially with the mountains and Breathtaking views all around. We went to the lobby bar and Augie was very helpful. The sushi was fresh! The pool was phenomenal. The rooms were comfortable during all my stay. Special shout out to David and Izzy who made my stay extremely memorable. These gentlemen went above and beyond to recommend things to do in the area. This is why I always return. Thank you for making me feel at home.
Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa

I had been at this hotel in 1984 (for Marriott training)so I didn’t have high expectations due to the age of the property….but I have to say I was totally overwhelmed. The staff was so wonderful at the start from the lovely gal who checked us in (she has only been there 7 months) all the way to the friendly pool attendant. Omni has done a wonderful job in renovating the property. the food and beverage product was wonderful in the Blue Ember restaurant (chicken jidori delightful) The bartenders were all so friendly and they offered a great selection of handcrafted cocktails (my favorite was the pink gin drink. I had forgotten what a great location the hotel is (close to the 111. Housekeepers were excellent and always greeted us as we roamed the property. I have worked in hospitality for many years…but this is one hotel that I definitely would return to. Ps great French restaurant just around the corner.

before making reservations i called the hotel because for some reason my employee discount was not going through for my second nigh, so i was transfer to reservations and there the nice representative told me to just book the night and when checking in to tell the receptionist to use my employee discount for the 2nd night (she told me there was available rooms for my second day and didnt understand why i wasnt able to reserve) i also asked her if it was ok to switch one room to a queen bed and she said ”of course just let the receptionist know and she should be able to accomidate you”...so i booked. next day we arrive we were not even greeted by the receptionist ALISA(but notice that the guest before and after us were nicely greeted they were both african american guest)she had a really bad attitude, rolled her eyes a couple of times when we asked questions, i let her know about what the reservations agent told me to tell her and so she tell me that she count accomidate me for the second night so i told her that why would someone tell me something an another one something else...so i said its fine...so shre proseed to doing the reservations and i told her if she can atleast change my room to a queen bed,she right away took a long breath and rolled her eyes and stared to the screen for a minute and then went to the back desk and slammed the doors csame back with some room keys after we just went to our room...the room was nicee and clean except when we went to the restroom...there was haair in the floor and pieces of toilet paper like if the floors werent sweep.....we would not mind going back there but they need to talk to thats ALISA girl!! the ”breakfast” was a joke ....an orange, muffin, granola bar and peanuts in A brown bag...it was kitty carders like ALISA had said when we asked her about the breakfast....no temperature checks,no sanatizers.
The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage

The RItz Carlton Rancho MIrage was perfect for our time in the Palm Springs area. We were upgraded to a fire pit room with a desert view and loved it. After a night swim we would return to a lit fire and view of a full moon. It was a beautiful way to start the day as well. The view was gorgeous. We had a child with us so we could only use the large family pool. There were always chairs available and the staff was so helpful. They would open umbrellas, pass out ice water, frozen berries, and small smoothies. We ate at the restaurant a few times and it was always good ( I usually hate hotel food). We were 6 miles away from downtown Palm Springs, but it was a quick drive to grab lunch, wander around and check out the art museum. If you enjoy nature, this is the right hotel for you.
