Hotels Near Riding Club Roma River Ranch in Rome

First of all picked the H10 hotel in Roma Citte as we had stayed in the Barcelona boutique hotel H10 and the quality of the hotel and service was superb. However the hotel H10 Roma Citte was no where near the same standard as the one in Barcelona and the Barcelona hotel cost less per night. I understand from reception that the boutique hotels are a grade higher To me the boutique hotel was a four star and the Roma Citte hotel was not in my opinion. Here is a summary of my review Most of these points have been mentioned in previous reviews Here are the good points of Roma Citte H10 Good size comfortable bed Room was clean Quite location Negative points Not in the main tourist part of the city and even though there are buses and trains in walkable distance it is a pain going backwards and forward. Also if you come back to the hotel for the evening there are no nice bars or restaurants nearby. The hotel is situated in a slightly run down area of the city. Hotel is tired and there are maintenance issues. (the photos don’t actually reflect how the hotel and rooms are now.) W3 had 3 maintenance issues a couple of these were put right however the main issue was the extracted fan ddid not work in the bathroom which therefore smells musty and all towels are still wet the next day. Point previously made. Wi-Fi not available in bedrooms. I think for what we paid per night we could of got a higher standard o& hotel in a more convenient location.

Parto con il dire che pernotto spesso a Roma sia per lavoro che per concorsi. Avendo pernottato in tale struttura per 3 notti, ho potuto gustare la loro colazione, che anche se un pò povera a livello di scelta, era comunque buona. Piccolo neo, anche se per me molto importante, nonostante il costo elevato della stanza, non fanno un cappuccino ”reale”, ma sei costretto a bere quello della macchinetta (direi che con quasi 170 euro a notte magari un cappuccino come si deve me lo merito, ma va bene). Durante il soggiorno, lo scarico del water non funzionava poichè si era danneggiato, ma è stato prontamente riparato. Ho apprezzato la cordialità dei ragazzi che si occupavano della ristorazione. Cosa non mi è piaciuto?! Da dove iniziare?! La cosa più GRAVE a mio parere e che hanno rovistato nel mio zaino (chiuso nell'armadio) in mia assenza, Direte voi, come te ne sei accorta? Semplice! Sono una maniaca dell'ordine con l'aggravante di essere germofobica, per cui non appena arrivo in una stanza d'albergo igienizzo e conservo tutto in modo che, durante le pulizie, nessuno possa toccare la mia roba. Avevo lasciato il mio zaino interamente chiuso, anche le fibbie a scatto, ed il comparto che rende espandibile il mio zaino chiuso. Al mio ritorno trovo lo zaino spostato, le fibbie e la cerniera della parte espandibile aperta. Dal mio zaino ovviamente non mancava nulla. Appena giunti in Hotel, la receptionist, squadrandoci dalla testa ai piedi, e notando le nostre valigie (due zaini) credeva, forse, non fossimo all'altezza di quel posto!?Non saprei. Sta di fatto che non appena ho comunicato che avevamo una stanza prenotata, ha subito cambiato atteggiamento, divenendo quasi adorabile e sdolcinata. Avendo prenotato e pagato tramite booking, ho dovuto pagare in loco le sole tasse di soggiorno, risultanti dal sito essere 6 euro al giorno. All'atto del pagamento mi viene richiesto un costo di euro 7.5 a notte; ovviamente faccio presente che sul sito era indicato un costo differente, ma il receptionist in maniera molto sgarbata, poco educata e con fare infastidito, utilizzando un tono di sufficienza, non da nessuna spiegazione, ma ribadisce il costo totale da pagare. Ora io non sono solita mettere delle recensioni negative, ma qui ci sta tutta.

We booked this hotel for a three night stay before our cruise. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our corner room had a cute balcony and the décor, furnishings, and vibe is sexy modern. They have a fabulous restaurant where you can grab the breakfast buffet. So many amazing choices. We also had dinner here one night and drinks another. It's tucked away in a very lively and fun neighborhood. Around the corner are tons of restaurants and shops. It's a 6 minute walk to Piazza di Santa Maria where we bought souvenirs, ate gelato and pizza, and hung out with the night crowd. The main street around the corner It's a 35 minute walk to the colosseum and a 45 minute walk to the Vatican. We did each of these on different days. It's definitely centrally located and I would stay here again.

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

The ho(s)tel was brand-new, and very clean! The beds where a bid hard, but thats personal preference. We asked for more pillows and towels, and they happily obliged. The breakfast buffet is pretty basic, so don't expect any warm/hot food like fresh eggs or bacon - but it's all you need. The whole staff was superfriendly. The location is perfect, as it's sitting at walking distance from the most famous sights: Colloseum, Trevi, ... Apart from that - it's only a 4-min walk from the metro-station 'Republica'. There's a convenience store located right in front of the hotel, which also comes in handy for getting a few bottles of water for the road. Would recommend, and definitely stay here again!

Really convenient location with only 3-min distance to Roma Termini giving you quick and easy transfer to the airport and elsewhere in Italy by train. Rooms have been renovated too. However, front desk staff was really rude. When I dropped my room keys in the transparent plastic box placed on the front desk for an express check-out and turned around leaving the hotel, staff shouted at me asking me to wait in line. The staff said I haven’t cleared my payment and tried to charge me full room rate plus city tax even though I have prepaid the room rate to Agoda in full. True that I haven’t paid city tax but they have swiped my credit card upon check-in or they could have asked me to pay upon check-in either. I suggested the hotel should have hided their express check out box if there is no such option available. The staff bluntly replied it is for guests who have cleared all the payment. It is really ironic who can enjoy express check out, if the hotel doesn’t charge city tax upfront nor charge it to credit card. Meanwhile, the room cleaning is so-so and forgot to refill shampoo/shower gel/fresh tower quite a few times during our stay. Also, the windows isn’t good at isolating street noise. I stayed in this hotel from 13-15th May. A new and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. On the early morning of 15/5, I found that my eyes seemed to have inflammation and the condition was deteriorating rapidly. I went downstairs around 5am to the reception and met a gentleman wearing glasses ( I recalled his name was Ricardo but my spelling was probably incorrect as I did not know italian language. My sincere apology to him first) He was aware of my conditions but said that there was no on-site doctor available at the moment. He told me that if I considered my condition serious, he could call an ambulance for me. As I have to check out at 0745 hours going to Florence, I immediately requested Ricardo to call an ambulance for me. The ambulance arrived very soon. After examination, the paramedics were satisfied that my condition was emergency and sent me to the nearby Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico where I received swift and professional treatment led by Dr Bucci Chiara. I was discharged shortly after 7am and returned to my tour group to carry on my visit before 8am. Dr Bucci Chiara was so kind to guide me where to take the Uber. In this matter, I deeply appreciated all involved including Ricardo, who asked my wife about my conditions before going off duty, the two ambulance paramedics, Dr Bucci Chiara and her medical/nursing colleagues. They all displayed a high degree of professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm towards their job. I felt that they are all very kind, generous, helpful people. I told other members in my tour group and they also found it amazing. Italy is such a wonderful place. I look forward to visiting Italy again very soon. Thank you to them all.

I'm sure that each of us has his own scale of factors to evaluate whether a place is beautiful or ugly but that the added value is the people. In this clean, nice and very comfortable hotel, near the Roma Termini station, it is precisely the people who make a small hotel a point of reference for our trips to Rome. Paola from the reception was, and is, the person who followed us during the booking process and who went out of her way to help us project our photographs on a wall, in a small room set up just for us, a small group of photographers arrived in town for a two day photography course. Thanks Thanks Thanks dear Paola, you are invaluable for the hotel and for the people who stay with you.. an infinite thanks from all of us. Federica

All is Good but the Room ac work but took long time cold the room apart of that staff was nice and room is clean with the price i paid is very nice

Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.
